Overall this is a good travel crate. If you can call it a crate. Really it’s a dog tent and one of my dogs barely left it in a recent trip to the beach. It is pretty sturdy, and easy to open and setup. My dog wouldn’t break through it if it were closed, but a more aggressive dog could. I should mention the way the front entrance is designed is a bit weird. My dog has to duck to get in. He a medium 48lb collie. Otherwise although it’s a bit smaller than his normal crate, he has plenty of room to maneuver inside. His twin brother who loves the crate at home, wouldn’t give it a second look. I think he might not have liked the idea of ducking to get in. If you look at the pictures you’ll see the entrance opening is about 3” down. Unlike his crate at home that has basically no lip on the top or bottom of the entrance. I might keep it cause I hate to have a crate for one and not the other. Must not give one child special treatment. I’d recommend this. But for what it is. It’s not a full on crate. It’s just a nice place to sleep and feel safe if that’s your thing. ... show more

I got the 32 inch and it's so big, two of my 30 lb pugs easily fit inside. My pugs are crate trained and each have their own metal crate to sleep in, which they really love. The Go Pet Club canvas crate is well made, very easy to assemble and fits right back in the travel bag. Did not appear to be easy to tip over when the pugs were exploring it. This was an answer to prayer for us. We have a 107 lb chocolate lab that still needs to be contained at night. He is calm enough that he doesn’t destroy anything but he likes to get up in the middle of the night and wake us up to “cuddle”. so we still need to keep him contained at night, but I don’t want the pain and inconvenience of a metal crate. It’s a great size for him, can block out most of the light so he sleeps better, and his mat fits in perfectly. I did find that the mat that comes with it was a little bit too hot for him, but we already had a mat that fit perfectly in there. It was easy to assemble an easy to break down. It goes flat, so if you have company, you can break it down and hide it. I would order again. This is probably the best pop up kennel for the price on amazon! Most other kennels in this price range were too small for my dog. I have a mini aussie but he's rather tall for the breed, and soft kennels around 32" were around $80. With that being said, the reason for 4 stars is while this kennel is good quality for the price, but there are definitely some interesting design choices. This kennel is ABSOLUTELY NOT for chewers or scratchers or any dog that's going to attemp to get out. Even for well kennel trained dogs, there is a strap that hangs down on the inside of the kennel with a clip. I'm assuming it's supposed to secure the dog inside the kennel, but the dog can easily get tangled and is very enticing for any dog to want to chew. Then there's a smaller velcro piece that hangs down from the top that's there to secure the top zipper flap when open. Again, when closed, it's very enticing for a dog to chew. The fleece mat that comes with is just a flat piece of Styrofoam with a fleece cover. It'd be very easy for a dog to shred. You could replace the Styrofoam as the cover does come off and is washable. Held up in the wash and quicky air dries. Other than those notable issues, the kennel fabric on the outside seems sturdy. It's very lightweight and super easy to assemble up and down. It is water resistant and easy to dry. The storage pockets are also a plus! We use this kennel for travel and for set up at dog agility trials, so it's durabiloty will be noted and I'll come back for an update. I'm glad it survived its first trip and my dog seems to like it! ... show more

    • Did Not Meet My Expectations

I purchased this soft dog crate for a visiting friend's 25-pound Frenchie. Upon setting up the crate, it looked flimsy, but I had high hopes that it would be adequate for sleeping and napping during the day. The first 2 nights were okay, but when we put her in for a nap she quickly broke through the crate at the seam where the zipper was attached to the crate material. Now that there is separation at the seams and a rip in the nylon crate material, the crate is unusable. I did expect that this crate would hold up longer than 2 days, as it is specifically designed for dogs. In summary, the crate is lightweight and easy to assemble, but unfortunately, its durability is lacking. It is probably more suited to a cat. ... show more
