  • Perfect, plus notes on strength of magnet
Size: 12 Small Jars
Super useful, very beautiful and cleared out all the clutters on my counter and cabinets. Highly recommend if you don't have a lot of storage space. This is also much easier to find the spice you need. Everyone who visited my house commented on how genius this idea is. Would be perfect as gifts too. In regards to the strength of the magnet, the magnets provided are very strong in my opinion, I've found that it's the surface material that will impact your result. I stick these jars to both the side of the fridge and the face of my fridge: - The side of my fridge have a layer of coating of sorts (grey ish, not stainless steel) that makes it less magnetic. so the jars doesn't stick on as strongly. Large jars don't work here, while small jars slide slightly. My solution is to put a small grade N45 magnet at the bottom of all the jars, and I'm able to keep all the small jars afloat no issue. - The jars sticks to the front of my fridge (just stainless steel, no coating) really strongly, there's is no risk whatsoever of it sliding. I put all my large jars there. I'd suggest testing your fridge if you're unsure - take magnet (reasonable strength, probably not the flat ones you get from pizza delivery, but most souvenir magnets should work), stick to where you plan on putting the jars, then put some force to it and see if it slides. If it slide slightly, I think a N45 bar below small jars would work for you. In regards of large vs. small jars - I keep most of my spices in small jars with a few large jars for say bay leaves, cinnamon stick, or spices I use in large quantity. ... show more

  • Unique Spice Jar
Size: 12 Small Jars
These spice jars are to different. I love that they are made in Bethel Maine. I ordered the small jars and you can design them anyway on your frig. Convenient with readable stickers and even my husband noticed and said how cool they were. Look so nice and so convenient to use. Love them. My old spice jars were so dated and these will last a lifetime. ... show more

  • Love these things
Size: 12 Small Jars
Love these things. Super cute on the fridge, and saves me tons of space in my spice cabinet! The only thing I was surprised about was the size; I'm fairly sure that if I had read the description a little more carefully I would have found the actual size/quantity of spices held :p but they still hold plenty for me. Also, they are pricey, but for good reason. They're glass (no plastic chemical absorption) and nice thick glass (already dropped one on my tile and it did not shatter or crack), the magnet is blocked by their special magnet blocker thingy (to stop any magnet issues), and they're CUTE! Also--when putting on the stickers make sure they will be straight when you put them on the fridge lined up with the others! I did not, and some are a little crooked haha ... show more

  • Liked them so much, I ordered another set
Size: 12 Small Jars
I was using the round magnetic metal spice cans on my fridge. Many of them froze up, and couldn’t open them or twist the tops past the shaker openings. The glass spice jars will avoid those issues all together. Yes, they are smaller, however the spices will stay fresher with the sealed tops. The jars take up much less space and look ten times nicer. Some have complained about the labels that accompany the jars, but we have a label device, so we can make those specialty labels when needed. Will order the larger jars for the spices we use more frequently, so we don’t have to refill them so often. One big plus is that you see how much of a certain spice you have at any given moment. It was easy to use the last of a spice with the metal tins, and forget you needed to refill them. Really like the look of these, and they seem like they will last. ... show more

  • Good looking; Small.
Size: 12 Small Jars
Nice little jars, emphasis on little. I was expecting something in the way of a small jam-jar size. In reality they are more like.... somewhere between a golf ball and a lemon. Definitely cannot fit a full McCormicks-style spice jar into just one. However, the magnet is sturdy, the labels are easy to use, and the hexagonal shape of the jar doesn't waste space the way a round jar would. I like mine and won't return them, but I'm not sure if I'd spend this much again on this size. ... show more

  • Perfect for a tiny kitchen space!
Size: 12 Small Jars
When we had to move into a an apartment with a tiny kitchen with little cupboard, counter or wall space, I desperately needed to find a place for my herbs and spices. These little jars are just perfect. I took this photo standing in front of my stove (to the right of me) and my one counter space to the back of me. This spacing makes using my spices so easy that I think I'd want to have them this way even if I had the space for spice storage. I buy the standard grocery store sized spices and keep the original jars in my storage area, going back to refill the Gneiss jars when I need them. The quality of the glass and lids is very high. Those lids go on very tightly without much effort. The lids hang on to my refrigerator beautifully. I don't arrange them in a fancy design because when I want to grab a jar, I don't want to have to move any others to get to it. I am buying spices as I need them, and just bought another box of jars for whatever happens to arrive in my kitchen next. ... show more
