So I had some trouble setting it up with my phone , because you can’t use your average Wi-Fi settings. I have 5G Wi-Fi, but I had to set up a 2.4G connection as well, because it only works with 2.4G for some reason. But once I figured out how to do that, it set up and connected , it was easy. I bought this because a grandbaby was visiting. I got it 2 days before, and it worked. After that it stopped and it would not connect anymore, although I followed the same steps from the instructions. I sent an urgent message asking for help, and 4 days later, no reply. I am very disappointed. We had to go to to the local Target to get another device brand that was a bit more expensive, one that worked as promised. I will be returning this one. ... show more

I really love this camera it’s a nice cheaper alternative to the high end baby monitor. I’m a first time mom and I wasn’t getting any chores done or personal relaxation time because I was constantly checking to see if my son was okay. Every time my son moves I get a notification you can set the sensitivity of the motion sensor which I have on medium because my son sleeps bad and naturally moves quite a bit the camera will notify me of exaggerated motion only. I love the live feature I can put him to sleep and have my iPad propped up and watch him while I get some me time on the patio at night and while I’m handling chores and cooking during the day. In the beginning with sound it would go off for every noise that seemed unusual including my washer and dryer but the technology has seemed to learn the normal sounds of my house and now only sends notifications for super loud noises and when my baby is making noise when he starts waking up. I turned off the animal detection so I wouldn’t be notified when my dog was moving around but if she gets close to his bedside bassinet it will inform me of motion within the detection zone. The quality of the video is great. The price for 2 cameras is great. However, both my husband and I can’t be logged in at the same time. You can only have one phone synced to the cameras at any point in time. Each time one person logs in, it logs the other one out. You can use the free version which allows you to view in real time. But if you want your videos stored or recorded, it’s an extra monthly fee of $4-$6 per month. This is fine if you are a single parent, but it almost doesn’t make sense as a baby camera. ... show more

The camera is small enough not to be intrusive in a room. It’s easy to set up using the app. The sound detection and motion detection features make the camera very usable as a security camera. The one benefit this camera has over other cameras of the same type is the onboard storage feature.
