Been using this for a little while now and it’s honestly way better than I expected. Super quiet, fast, and handles everything I need for running my business. I’ve got a bunch of tabs open all the time, I do estimates, emails, some light video editing in Resolve, and it doesn’t lag or stutter. It’s not made for gaming or anything crazy like 3D rendering, but for what I do—mostly work-related stuff and a bit of editing—it’s perfect. The 32 gigs of RAM is nice to have, and the 1TB SSD is fast and gives me plenty of space. It’s super compact too. Doesn’t take up any room on the desk and it stays cool and quiet no matter what I throw at it. What I like: Small, fast, and quiet Great for multitasking and business stuff Can handle light video editing Good storage and RAM Setup was easy What it’s not for: Gaming or anything super graphics-heavy If you need a ton of power for creative work, you’ll want something bigger But overall, really happy with it. I've been a big fan of GMKtec products ever since I bought my first miniPC several years ago. This will be the third model that we bought and one of the most amazing. It is fast, efficient and well made miniPC suitable for gaming and any intensive graphics like CAD rendering. Plenty of memory and SSD with plenty of ports for displays, etc... Way faster than the traditional PC it replaces. Opening CAD files proved the point right away. Seamless integration with our measuring equipment attached to the PC. Great value and features for the price.

Although I returned two, this is an amazing machine. The power and capability for something that can fit in the palm of your hand is amazing. The first one that I returned had an Intel i5 processor and graphics were basically acceptable on my 65” family room TV, but it started dropping the Wi-Fi connection, so I returned it. The 2nd one that I bought had an AMD processor, and having been a fan of AMD for many years, I thought that I would try it. It ran well but had poor graphics on the 65”TV, so I also returned that one. Having previously had a business building custom computers, I really appreciate this minicomputer when used in the right applications. Cooling also seemed good, but better with the AMD processor (heat is always the bad guy with electronics, and cooling something this small can be an issue). So, despite my issues, I rate both as a 4

I’ve been using the GMKtec M5 Plus for a week now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the power and functionality this compact machine delivers. Despite its compact size, it handles a wide range of tasks with ease, including web browsing, media streaming, productivity work, and even gaming, thanks to the Ryzen 7 5825U processor, 32GB of RAM, and a lightning-fast 1TB SSD. Working in Excel with spreadsheets or jumping into a quick session of Fortnite, the performance has been consistently smooth and reliable. For a mini PC at this price point, it’s incredible. It also supports triple 4K displays, which makes multitasking and workspace management a breeze. The dual 2.5GbE LAN ports are a great addition for anyone who needs reliable networking, whether it’s for file transfers, server work, or a stable gaming connection. Setting it up was a breeze. It came with Windows 11 pre-installed, and the initial updates were minimal—I was up and running in just a few minutes. Thankfully, there was no clutter, no unnecessary bloatware. Just a clean, fast setup experience. Another great feature is the included VESA mount, which let me attach the PC to the back of my monitor. It saved space on my desk and gave my whole setup a cleaner, more modern look. (see attached photo). It looks great on my 32 inch curved monitor! One of the best parts of this purchase was the customer support. I had a couple of BIOS-related questions and reached out via email—the team responded quickly and was incredibly helpful. They also have a really useful YouTube channel with tutorials and product guides that walk you through common questions and setup tips. And when you look at everything you get for the price—a powerful CPU, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, dual LAN ports, triple monitor support—the value is truly incredible. This mini PC punches well above its weight; it runs cool and quiet and handles tasks like a champ. The GMKtec M5 Plus delivers performance, outstanding value, and excellent support—all in a tiny package. Highly recommended!
