  • Went with GM Genuine because the last one lasted 25yrs
Good radiator, works as it should. Shipping was fast, but it took almost 10 days to prepare shipment after I ordered it.

  • Works like it should
This fit perfectly in a 2000 Blazer 4x4. It has both the engine oil cooler and transmission cooler built in. It doesn't have any way to install a petcock, which makes future coolant replacement a little messier. That's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. I also noticed the core itself was slightly thinner than the OEM radiator, but that doesn't seem to make a difference in cooling. It still runs cool even when it's in the mid-90s. ... show more

  • Drain Cock is molded in - but it is not functional
Drain Cock is molded in - but it is not functional. I recently purchased this radiator to replace the one in my 2002 Chevy S10 (V6). Appears to be an exact replacement EXCEPT the drain line (petcock) is molded in the lower passenger side - but it is not drilled out so you can not use the old petcock on the new radiator. At first I thought it was a manufacturing defect but I found a phone number of AC Delco (1-800-223-3526) and called them about it. They said they eliminated the petcock to save money because the new radiators in the new cars don't have on either In any case - this radiator worked out great. Don't panic when it comes time to pull the oil lines on each side. That is a 'quick' release fitting. You pull the plastic cap away from the fitting (slide it down the line) and you will then find a wire clip which needs to be removed with a 'pick" once the clip is out, the line pulls out. Several videos on youtube if your having a problem Take the four brass fittings and the two rubber feet off the old radiator and mount them on the new one ... show more

  • Don’t waste your time with aftermarket
99 S10 Blazer 4.3 with automatic and 4WD. Original radiator lasted 20 years and 130K miles. Purchased aftermarket radiators from two nationally known auto parts stores both parts marketed under respected brands. The AT Fluid and oil cooler fittings were so poorly machined, the lines would not push into place. I even removed the fittings and snap clips, and lubed the O-ring and steel wool cleaned the up the line end. Still could not fully seat the lines. In the end, ordered the AC Delco radiator here, moved the old fittings to the new radiator. The lines snapped into the old fittings. Yes, the new radiator no longer has a functional drain as noted in other feedback comments. ... show more

  • Saved me $500 doing it myself
The local Chevy dealer wanted $800+ and my Blazer for 5 days to swap in a new radiator. It seemed like a complicated task, but I'm kinda feerless and was tired of driving around hoping the Barr's StopLeak wouldn't fail me. The job took this weekend mechanic about 3 hours. I replaced the radiator hoses too. The toughest part was trying to get the factory spring hose clamp onto the bottom hose at the engine block with channel lock pliers. I gave up after about 90 minutes of fiddling with it (I'm persistent, but it was late night with no stores open). Got the right screw hose clamps and everything went together quickly. The other less than simple part of the job as dealing with the lower radiator shroud. Be gentle, there's a lot of plastic holding things together, and it all works out. Thanks Amazon, for having all the AC Delco parts available and quickly shipped. My local auto parts store wouldn't have been as quick or as inexpensive. ... show more

  • Fits like the OEM '99 GMC Jimmy, but no functioning coolant drain
Fits 1999 GMC Jimmy 2wd. No drain drilled in bottom of radiator for a drain plug, but you can always take off the hose to drain the radiator.
