The light is a simple clean design that disappears in your ceiling. Installation is simple. A plastic bracket screws to your electrical box with 2 provided screws. There is wire strap attached to the light that hooks to the plastic bracket holding the light near the electrical box so you can easily attach the 2 wires. Attach the 2 wires using the supplied wire nuts, tuck the wires into the box, and twist the light into the plastic bracket to lock it in place. At 5000K the light is very white and works well if you want a pleasant white color. The color is not adjustable and the instructions say the light is not dimmable. The instructions are adequate and written in easily understandable English. I only measured 22.5 watts of power consumption, 6% less than the rated 24 watts. ... show more

I've installed this light in a backyard building where I have room for four such lighting fixtures. There are a mixture of light fixtures in the ceiling and I'm going to give this a year to see how well they all hold up. This light fixture it's my favorite by far as it has a very nice feel to it that it does not seemed to be cheap or made from weak or frayed plastic. The lens seems clear and really puts out a nice light. Although the light fixtures seem to be adjusted very near to the same settings which is nice because you can have different light fixtures producing the same color of light when set correctly. This is a nice basic light that is a flush mount, but mimics the look of a recessed light (no giant cuts in the drywall needed). The installation was easy, with VERY basic (not bad but not good) instructions. These are fairly straightforward lights and boy does it put out a TON of light. I put it up in my walk-in closet that doesn't have any windows nearby nor does any natural light reach it. It is almost on the border of being too bright for the space. I think I could have gone with a smaller light and it would have worked fine. No problems with it and I'm hoping it'll last a long time. ... show more

Used this to replace an older, boring, light fixture and it was a breeze to install, taking all of 15 minutes including the time to disassemble the previous fixture. This offers much brighter light than a pair of 60w equivalent bulbs while being incredibly clean and unobtrusive looking. There are certainly other models that are likely equally great options, particularly ones that may have options for color temperature but the daylight color temperature is perfect for my use case. I'm strongly considering picking up a few more to replace older fixtures around the house that would benefit from a cleaner, more modern, replacements. ... show more
