    • Shiny and new

Works great. I’ve only ever used one other mouth piece. It was the Yamaha that came with my student trumpet. This one is subtly different than the other in feel but they play and sound the same to me. The local music shop has this exact mouth piece for over $30. I like shopping local but couldn’t pay over double for the same thing. ... show more

    • Spectacular Mouthpiece
Color: 3c
My Bach 1 1/2 C mouthpiece was stolen. I’ve been playing on a Yamaha 11c and I know I could get a deeper richer sound with my Bach, I just didn’t want to pay $80 for a new one. I took a chance and bought this and am super grateful I did! It’s a great mouthpiece. I would have never known it wasn’t a Back. Try it, it’s definitely worth it!!! ... show more

    • Great mouthpiece for soloing in to a cup of water
Color: 7c
I bought this solely for the purpose of trying to recreate the gurgling solo in the song Bebe by Hermeto Pascoal. It went well I think i might weld it to a pot to have it as a permanent instrument. I play bass not a trumpet so I don't know what it would be like on a trumpet.

    • Exactly what was needed
Color: 5c
I paid the price for a brand new one & still received a used one. Not ok but I boiled it because my son needs it for school. Exactly what he needed though.

    • A good value for the money mouthpiece. As good as much higher priced ones.
Color: 5c
This mouthpiece is as good as any I have used including Thor, Bach, and Getzen.

    • Good replacement for chipped mouthpiece
Color: 7c
I never really paid attention to my son's trumpet mouthpiece until he dropped his trumpet and we had to take it to the music shop to have them pull the stuck mouthpiece out. They got it out fine, but there were some ridges which we were advised to polish smooth so that it didnt get stuck again. As we were doing that, I noticed that there were chips and missing plating all over the mouthpiece. So after investigating the cost or process to have one re-plated, we opted to just pick up this new one. It works great and we get some peace of mind around this interface point. ... show more

    • Amazing value
Color: 3c
A real great value, especially for trying out different mouthpiece sizes. When I was a kid, you used your 7C and you LIKED it. It wasn't for many years that I even discovered there were different sizes, let alone actually tried one. I got this for my son so he wouldn't have to use my old mouthpiece, for which he's extremely grateful! If you don't play trumpet yourself, and you're buying this for someone else, be aware the 3C size is probably not the best starter mouthpiece. It promotes a nice deep tone, but requires a stronger embouchure which might stymie a beginner and hurt their range development. The 7C is the traditional starter mouthpiece, and it's fine, but it's definitely a bit pinched after you get used to a 3C. For a beginner, you might also consider the 5C, either as a first mouthpiece, or as a stepping stone from the 7C. They don't look very different, but rest assured they feel very different. ... show more
