okay listen. i’ve tried them all. every single “cooling” blanket you can find on amazon. countless returns and i never found anything that didn’t make me burn up heavy at night. when i purchased this i had no clue it was going to be this soft and cold feeling. it’s the softest fabric and silky, smooth, and lightweight. i just can’t believe how comfortable and cozy this is without being so hot and sticky. i cannot get over it! this is the only blanket i’ll ever use. pair this with jersey sheets and you will be sleeping perfect temperature wise. i will buy another if i ever need to. only using this from now on!!! whoever made this thank you! i have terrible night sweats and hate feeling hot as it makes me nauseous. i’m 23 and take medications that make me feel warm at night so this is a must. and for the price it’s SO worth it. don’t think just buy! washes great too and quickly dries fast in the dryer. only thing is that it wrinkles so bad so make sure you get a low heat iron if it really matters to you! other than that nothing but great things. also my cat loves it too! :) ... show more

This is the warm weather comforter weight I was looking for. I took one star off bc I don't love that it has a kinda shiny fabric and not a matte cotton. But I will say I kept it anyway bc it's silky soft to the touch and very comfortable weight, so I kept it. It is also a great size that covers my king mattress well. It lays over the edges and down to the bed frame nicely. We are definitely sleeping cooler now. I've been having night sweats for a while, waking damp and chilled each morning in a huge pool of sweat. Ugh. Yet despite the reality of my perimenopausal situation, I had difficulty giving up my down comforter because I *need* to feel enveloped in softness while I sleep. While shopping for a new blanket, it took me a while to settle on something "night sweat approved" (in the words of another reviewer) that seemed billowy enough for my needs. After my first night sleeping with this bamboo-sleeved comforter, I realize I waited too long to replace my down comforter. The blanket provided the "just right" amount of softness, warmth, and air circulation. It was such a relief waking up dry and warm this morning. I look forward to many more successful dry/warm slumbers. Yessss! Pro tips: In terms of care, I washed this blanket at home, on a bulky/delicates setting, with a front load washer and gentle soap. I dried on low heat with wool dryer balls and extra time to ensure no dampness. The comforter came out perfect--buttery soft but billowy, like a small cloud, with no wrinkles. I also paired the comforter with my empty linen duvet cover as my "flat" sheet, because linen is also a great temperature regulator and I love its two-layered suppleness as a base layer.
