I went through two other trees before I found this one. My cat is so large she was pulling the other ones over. I don't want to have to wall mount it, so this one works great on its own! She's 19lbs and she has jumped up on it, climbed it, scratched on it, and it's never even almost ripped. And the caves are very large and so is the bed. I did have to super glue the mouse wand to the tree because it would just fall out, but other than that, it was perfect right out of the box. Very easy to assemble. I'm a girl and I did it. I assembled the tree by myself and it only took roughly an hour. All pieces of parts arrived in good condition. Instructions were very easy to follow! I had a slight issue with the scratch pad at the bottom. If you tighten the screws too much, the pad won’t slide into the slit at the bottom of the base. This product is easy to put together, has well designed platforms on both sides for cats to jump or walk up on. If you want a STURDY cat tree for you precious cat, this one is PURrrrfect! Henry weighs 14 lbs and he fits the top tier with ease. It took a little bit of time to assemble BUT it was not hard to do. The seller sends a few extra parts as well (screws in such). I did not need them but appreciate that they were given. The price was excellent as well. easy to put together well most of it besides the scratch board brackets are not bent right go get it to slide the end into place. i have big boys and it holds there weight but one side is basically useless plate foams on the one side are small my older male can just sit his butt on it. my younger likes the cubbies more but not real thrilled with it played with hanging mouse for like 1 min not much room for him to roll around and play on not to mention when my cats jump up or down on it the whole tree moves bottom just isnt heavy enough.i would not buy this again dont know how they think maine coon cats will fit on it that well when mine are even as big as maine coons we put up new tree and hes back over on the old one sleeping instead ... show more
