The items arrived in good shape and all the parts and the allen wrench tool were included and matched the listing and instruction included to put the items together. Each cat trees took about 20-25 minutes each to put together. They seem sturdy and secure. I use these cat trees next to a window as a spot where my cats can lay and look out at the back yard birds, squirrels and the like. My cats started using these within an hour of putting them up. The platforms are large and secure for my large (MaineCoon, Bombay and Ragdoll) cats. They seem to really enjoy the cat tree and the platforms are fun for them to navigate. The cat tree I had for 5+ years was looking sad (discoloration, and scratch posts were decimated— as expected). I spent months reviewing different trees looking for good reviews, durability (my cats are over 15 lbs), plush fabric, at least 60” tall with easy assembly. GLOBLAZER met my criteria. Instructions were easy to follow (I am 61 with iffy eyesight, and assembled this alone in about 40 minutes). I was keeping it next to the old tree, worried my cats would have an adjustment period— not so! They took to the new tree almost immediately (with a few sprinkles of cat nip). Our old cat tree was looking kind of ratty so it was time for it to go. I found and ordered this tree because: 1) My cat is 12 lbs. and she loves to jump, so it needed to be really sturdy. 2) I needed a tower that had more platforms than usual and preferably one with a high platform because it will go in front of a window for those bird watching days. 3) I needed a platform that had cushioned sides because kitty spreads on out while sleeping and we don't want her falling. 4) Lastly, it matches my decor! It is the exact shade and hue of rug in the room! What a reason huh? It does take about 1-2 hours to assemble it but it's not hard to do. I purchased this cat tree to use as a stepping ladder for my cats to access their bunk beds while also giving them additional lounging space. It serves both purposes very well and has blended nicely into the area without becoming an eyesore. The platforms are spacious enough for my cats to relax comfortably, and the height works perfectly for helping them climb in and out of the bunk beds with ease. Assembly was straightforward, and it feels reasonably sturdy once put together. The reason for the missing star is the color. I specifically chose this model because the listing photos showed a rich dark gray that I thought would coordinate perfectly with my plans to paint the bunk beds black. In person, the color is more of an ashy gray than the darker charcoal tone shown online. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it wasn’t quite what I expected. Overall, it’s a functional and attractive cat tree that provides extra resting spots and easy access to elevated spaces. My 15lb cat absolutely LOVES it!! And she’s a pretty picky kitty, but she was immediately obsessed with it. Very easy to build and feels sturdy. The fur is soft and doesn’t come off everywhere like some other ones I’ve had. Also just super cute!
