I know it says XL platform, but our 7lb cats do not get lost in it. Very well packed, nice and sturdy. Our cats were climbing in and out of it while it was being built! They love it. Easy to put together, and it's very sturdy. It has a strap that you can attach to the wall. We didn't do that because our cats are small and we set it in front of the sunroom windows. Bought this to replace a 10 year old tree, specifically looking for something with larger latforms... many of the ones you find are quite small... this one delivers.... Clear instructions well made, went together fine....although the microfiber covering is quite thin So not much padding on the platforms, but the cats love it ... show more

This heavy box arrived in promptly and in good condition with a useful booklet showing drawings of each piece and the number included. All of the pieces were securely and snugly packed and in the correct amounts. The hardware included was complete and had the correct number of screws, along with an Allen wrench and wall mount hardware (did not use this but will save it for when needed). There was one extra of each type of screw left over. I put this together on Tuesday in 90 minutes by myself (the cat supervised). Everything went together smoothly; the holes were drilled in the right places, and I did not encounter any problems with cross-threading when screwing either type of screw. At the moment, the cat tree is sitting in the corner made by the 90 degree turn in my stairs, so not against a wall. My cat, a 10-pound tortie, has been climbing on it, using the scratching posts, and batting at the toys without any problems with stability. I may use a tie to anchor it to a stair post but so far this has not seemed necessary. In general I am happy with the overall quality, although the green carpet covering is extremely thin and isn't going to last. As far as construction, the pieces are all sturdy, well made, and fitted together well. I will upload photos when I get a chance. ... show more

I have a Maine Coon mix and she is over 10 lbs at 9 months. She climbs and jumps up down and all over this. It’s sturdy the extra leg really helps stability. I love the design as it gives her several uses and places to lay and play. It is well worth the money spent as it keep her from scratching my furniture. I cannot tie it to wall as recommended because it’s in the French doors to watch squirrels outside. Cloth shows no wear, and I’ve had it going on 4 months. ... show more

Our cats were all over this before we even finished putting it together. They love it. 100% rec. It's taller than me, which is fine. It gives the cats a nice vantage point. The box is roomy and so are the ledges and lounge spots for the cats. It feels sturdy in the corner we put it in and has a strap to attach to the wall for added security. It's got some weight to it but isn't difficult to move or slide around where you want it, if you're assembling alone. 100/10 I want another one. ... show more
