We love this mix. My husband hinted he wanted a soft serve machine so I bought the Dash machine and this. We used what someone suggested in the reviews. 1/3 cup mix 1 1/4 cup milk. We used 2% 1/2 cup heavy cream We churned it 25 minutes but that was a bit to long. It was hard coming out. 20 minutes would have been perfect. We froze the rest. My husband wanted it the next night. It was hard as a rock. He let it sit on counter for just a few minutes and it was soft serve again. This mix is flavorful, but if you want that vanilla strong then add a tiny bit of vanilla extract. We didn't add sugar for 2 reasons. 1- my husband is a diabetic 2 - It didn't need any. Tasted great just as we made it. This was a bit expensive but still worth it since it is a 6lb bag. Very easy to use. I bought airtight containers which makes it easier to get out. Quality was great. Would buy again. ... show more

Worth. Every. Penny. Got this for my ninja Creami and works great! I have tried it a few ways and it’s about 3/4 cup of mix for 2 cups milk. But if it’s too sugary then use less mix. Blend it in a blender then pour into 2 Creami containers. Kids love it! I also add a scoop of protein powder and it’s still tasty. Easy to use. Tastes like Dairy Queen. Mixes up well. ... show more

We got a slushie machine that also makes ice cream. I wanted to have several options for yummy treats that wouldn't take long, so decided to try this soft serve mix. IT IS REALLY GOOD! Just add some milk and stir it up, pour into machine and you end up with the soft serve we all enjoy. I read on other reviews that using water instead of milk didn't turn out well, so didn't even try. This is not a sugar free desert. The slushie machines require sugar for them to freeze properly so this does have sugar instead of artificial sweeteners. The taste is great, lightly sweet, vanilla flavor and is creamy and light. We will try the other flavors now that we have tested one. There is no recipe for making small batches on the bag. It just has the instructions for making the whole thing at once. I experimented and found that 2/3 to 3/4 cup of mix with 3 cups of milk worked for us and our particular slushie machine. The price is not a great feature. It is cost prohibitive for me to use regularly but good enough to enjoy from time to time. This is a quick and divinely refreshing summer treat! ... show more

I Have purchase this many times for the Grandkid & family everyone loves the vanilla but I also purchase the other flavors also I love this mix you can mix with water or milk easy they all taste Great and price is okay but I wait till there on sale and the size is also great large bag of mix last months The only thing I wish Frostline made sugar free version with the same great taste in all the flavors trying to stay off diabetes radar so if your listing or reading sugar free please Thank you. ... show more

Literally the best soft serve we’ve ever had 😍 no joke, we were all fighting for the last bites. Not only does it smell delicious when you’re mixing it up (we mixed it the day before so it could sit in the fridge to meld), it tastes SO GOOD! Very simple to use, huge bag for the price, and worked great in our Cuisinart soft serve machine. Next time we plan to try it in a regular ice cream machine and see how that works! ... show more

Great taste, I did add honey since I was using unsweetened almond milk (I am Lactos intolerant). 1 qt almond milk to 3/4lb of mix and about 2 tablespoons of honey, mixed for about 2 minutes and poured into my new Gourmia GSI1060BK. Took about 30 minutes and I had soft serve (milkshake at about 20 minutes). It was a bit too sweet (probably the honey), but the texture was great. The instructions say to use the whole 6lb bag with 8 quarts of milk, so that works out to 3/4 lb per quart. ... show more
