Initially, having such a thin rug concerned me, however, it keeps our feet warm. It was just slightly too big for the space in front of our sinks. If we didn’t have the baseboard, it would be perfect and I’m not ripping out the baseboard to fit a rug. Having successfully shrink a smaller version of this rug for our water closet I decided tonight to wash the rug and dry it on low heat. Instead of air drying it, I went in for 130 minutes on low heat. I was going to check it halfway through however, I forgot about it. It turned out perfect. It shrink it about an inch or less and now it’s lives in perfectly in front of our sinks, so no more tripping hazard (we did have the corners anchor down with some rubber grips, however, I am more comfortable that it fits perfectly now). So, as I stated with the other ones, if you’re concerned about the size, consider the fact that you can gently shrink these on your own terms. This rug is great for my living room. Since it is washable, I was hoping it’d fit in my laundry machine but it didn’t. I washed it outside with soap and a pressure washer. I did have to buy a slip free mat that goes under it because we kept slipping on it. It also clumps in some areas, but that’s easy to fix. I highly recommend for families with kids and pets. Purchased 6 x 9 size for living room to replace a 10 x 8 feet thicker area rug that was difficult to clean and vacuum off dog hairs. Bought Terra/Blue initially but colors especially the blue was too dark and did not go with living room. Replaced with Terra/Multicolor which is more of a distressed design and toned down lighter colors work out perfectly. Very happy with rug. Washable rug will be easier to clean. This rug is great. Perfect size for my space. It’s washable so it’s not comfy and pretty flat. I wish the color was lighter and more coral like the picture advertised. I needed it to be thin enough that you could open the closet door without removing the rug. It is soft and grips well. I had never seen this type of gripping system. This is not plush if you are looking for foot relief. Great for people who wear house shoes. The cats have not been attracted to scratching this. Love the colors in this rug! Better even because it's waterproof and durable for kitchen. When received rug, it was folded and creases took a few days to settle. Rest assured they flatten out.
