If the repaired surface is raised at a point, please follow the steps below:first, rub the raised point back and forth with your thumb until the raised point is flushed with other surfaces; if the raised point cannot be flattened with your thumb, then click on the raised point gently by using a knocking stick (in the posture of holding a pen) until the raised point to restore formation. Sometimes the procedure may have to be repeated for several times before well repaired.(Note: When using the knocking stick, do not put forth too much strength) 9. Once the dent is repaired, unscrew the nut knob, remove the traction bridge,and then remove the traction gasket. My wife's car was hit in a parking lot and they left before she got back. There were no creases in the metal so I thought maybe I could do this. I decided to watch a lot of YouTube videos on using these before I made a purchase and I'd suggest everyone do the same. From what I saw, this kit seemed like it would do what I needed. I'll share some pros and cons at the end. The kit arrived with no issues and I came up with a way to practice before getting started. I have a 25 year old Tacoma that has a few dings. I started there and learned a few things. First the biggest investment you need to make is time. The dents don't come out in one pull. Also, if you don't wait long enough for the glue to cool, You've wasted time and glue. I found that starting with the bigger tabs was best. The metal dent lifter is strong and what I used the most. The the plastic puller works ok, but it's not as strong. The advantage it has is that the feet are farther apart and can help getting larger dents started. As you progress it gets a little challenging to see where you need to make your next pull from. On videos they show expensive lights you can get that do a great job. I found that a six in metal ruler, held across the dent, does a nice job of showing where your low spot is. If you have a metal putty knife or anything you are sure is straight, that should be just as good. Having a pencil to track your low spots to glue comes in handy too. My pros & cons on this kit. It came with an alcohol bottle, but it was empty as noted. Perhaps trying to ship it is a challenge, but no big deal as long as you are prepared. Alcohol is a must have to use the kit. A lesson learned was that 70% alcohol doesn't work well at all. Get 90% or better. The kit comes with two different glue sticks but no mention of what to use or when. I'm still not an expert here but I found that the black seems to separate as one piece when it releases, more often than the yellow. Also that it was easier, for me, to work with the black adhesive on the tabs on the white plastic puller that the ones on the metal unit. This is only because getting the black glue off the curved tabs on the metal puller seemed more difficult. You may have different results. Some reviews were critical of the glue gun. I had no issues. I had a spare already, but didn't need it. Do be sure to give it 10-15 minutes before you start by getting it plugged in before you do anything else. The kit includes a tap that seems a bit questionable. In videos I watched they were soft plastic or leather tipped. This one is plastic and comes top a point. I avoided using this as it seemed like it should have more of a rounded surface. Summary: Overall, the repair I did with this kit on the car was perfect. I have some more hail damage on the Tacoma I'll get back to, and maybe even get it painted after I'm done. There are larger more expensive kits available, but this one did everything I needed. If anything an upgrade to the plastic tap would be nice, but you can get those separately if needed. Hope all that helps. Oh, one more suggestion. If you have more than one dent try to work on both at the same time. The reason for that is the time you need to wait on the glue to cool down adds up. If you have two, or more, tabs cooling down at the same time, you are saving a lot of time on waiting. ... show more

I bought this kit after testing a friend's similar set. I was surprised to see, that the kit we have purchased is of the same good quality as our friend's set, but less expensive. It comes with a small bag, which can fit additional equipment and has a good variety of rubber puller taps. The procedure discribed in the included instructions to remove a dent is pretty easy and almost self-explaining. Additionaly, there is an easy-to-follow explanation in the product description online. The results are great - the dents are just gone. Be sure to polish after using the glue and alcohol to get the best results. So far we have just used the equipment to pull out dents. Those items used, seem very sturdy and well manufactured. But also the pry tools seem to be sturdy and durable. It is a great product and I can highly recommend it. ... show more

    • Unbelievable product! Amazing results

Bought a used Lexus that came with a dime sized dent in fender from what looked like shopping cart damage, super unpleasant to look at if you know it's there but small enough not to REALLY notice. Got quoted $350 from a paintless dent removal service so figured would try this before going that route. Let me tell you, this product really works - I couldn't believe my eyes. It definitely took probably 8-10 tries but the dent came out and its smooth as it was when the car left the factory. The product comes with a million attachments of various sizes. They are round, oval, square. Comes with two different color glue sticks, black and clear. The clear seemed to work best for my application. Definitely try doing this when the weather is above 50 degrees and apply the glue quickly to the dent after you put it on the attachment. Take your time and go slow. At first it will seem like it's not working, to the point where you will want to give up. Just keep trying different attachments, make sure to follow the guide included with the product, it tells you which attachment approximately for the size of the dent. Like I said earlier, took about 8-10 tries for a dime size dent in a very annoying spot and I went through 2 glue sticks but the results speak for themselves. Awesome product overall ... show more

What I like: It does work once you get the method down. Some reviewers say it doesn't work at all. I had the same experience at first. It works really good now with some learning curve and additions to the kit. Here are the keys I found to getting it to work. 1. get the glue hot. Let the gun heat for 10 minutes or so, even though they say it is ready after 3 to 5 minutes. 2. let the glue dry for at least 5 minutes. I started letting it set for 10 minutes(sometimes overpulls though). 3. if the kit is the $52 kit it doesn't have the tap down pen. Get one of these for about $9, it is worth it and works like a charm to fix the overpulls. 4. get some different glue tabs. It was taking me 5 or more pulls to get a small hail dent out. There is only one tab small enough to work on hail dents or door dings in the whole kit. With the timings I give above that is an hour per dent, ridiculous. I ordered a tab set for about $15 and it had another 5 small tabs that I could use. All of these tabs worked much better than the original one in the kit. The dents pull on the first or second try most of the time now. I have about 100 hail dents so this made me very happy. What I don't like: I had to buy extra tabs and then found the original tabs don't work well compared to other brands. I can only speak to the smallest tab in performance. I think the kit should have more small tabs, especially since the description says that one of it's functions is for hail dents. The glue gun in the kit is not a standard size. It works fine, but when you run out of glue sticks and order more sticks of the same brand as the kit, they don't fit the gun. There are apparently standard size and mini size. I have not been able to find the mini size sticks, only the 11mm standard sticks. So, I had to buy a new glue gun as well. In summary, the kit with additions works pretty well. But being sold as a "kit" I would have expected there to be everything for it to work well. The key word is well. I was able to get it to pull dents as the original kit, but very inefficiently. 5 plus tries for a single dent, after getting the process down. Bunch of plastic junk. The glue will stick to your vehicle and not the gasket so you just end up pulling the gasket off instead of pulling the dent out. Do not purchase.

I dented our 3 month old stainless steel fridge. I dented it at eye level and directly under high hat lighting in our kitchen. Stainless steel appliances dent very easily. Our cleaning service dented our old fridge in two spots. It annoyed me to look at it but what can you do? When our old garage fridge died three months ago, I moved the dented fridge out to the garage and bought a new one for the kitchen. Now the dents no longer bothered me. Who cares out there? Then I dented the new one myself. UGH!!!!!!! So I hopped online to see how to get the dent out. There was a myriad of ways but many pointed to this device or something similar. I went to Amazon to see what they had to offer. I selected this device and ordered it. The first thing I did when I got this was to watch as many videos on how to use as I could. Then I tried it on the garage fridge first. It was easy to use and pulled out the two dents to the point you could almost not see them. I wanted so more practice and put a couple of dents in a metal trash can I keep in the garage. Those came out even better. So then I was ready to try the fridge in the kitchen. One worry I had on this fridge was that I would overdo it and have an equally as big an eyesore as just having the dent. I went easy on this and pulled the dent out in about 5 steps instead of 1 or 2. You can't even tell there was ever a dent in the door. It looks like it did when it it was new.
