This color is exactly as I expected from the pictures displayed on Amazon’s site. When I opened the container the color looked barely a shade darker than white so I was nervous because it is supposed to be a mid range gray. Ultimately, I was able to use only one coat over a mid to dark blue paint color and it painted over it perfectly and displayed the mid range gray color I wanted. I am impressed with the performance of this Glidden paint. I ordered it in flat black to paint some of my shop cabinets. It worked well on my wood cabinets then I tried it on an old metal cabinet and, to my surprise, it worked well on the metal. I rolled it on with a microfiber roller and when it dried it had very little texture. Two coats covered very well even on the white metal cabinet. Very little odor too. ... show more

While the color I selected (go to gray) didn’t end up looking as much like the picture as I had hoped, it was a true one coat coverage paint so it was definitely good quality! The go to gray color ended up looking very lavender in my bathroom which is a white and light gray color scheme. I don’t mind it too much though, and it was a nice way to buy paint without having to leave my house during all this crazy quarantine. It would have been nice though to have some instructions on how to get that dang plastic ring off of it when it arrived. My husband and I both struggled at it with pliers, utility knife, and even a hammer and chisel at one point. Ended up taking us about 20 minutes to slowly cut through it with the knife. ... show more

Covers any coklor anything in one coat. Worth the money - paint stores want 62 dollars for this paint … no thanks. Buy it on Amazon you won’t be disappointed with this paint.

This paint is terrible. I have contacted costumer service, but never heard back. When ordering I chose the more expensive version, paint&primer on coat/eggshell, since I did not want to apply several layers to freshen up a light, sage- green accent wall in the hallway. What I received was not what I expected for the money. It feels, and looks like a simple primer. Chalky, blotchy, matte. I applied four coats, and it looks like a bright white (not even beige as ordered), chalkboard. I double- checked the label - I contacted customer service, I sent in several photos - and never heard back. Well, I guess my accent wall is primed now, and I just spend another $70 to get actual paint. With that said, if you buy this expensive primer/so-called paint, it has no odor and dries pretty much while painting - so keep your fans off. Makes for a great classroom makeover if chosen in black.
