  • Everything thing is there

This come with everything you need. I purchased this for our pianist at church so he can have a mic to sing with. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and this was well prices. It works great and is sturdy. He's been using it for a few weeks now and everything seems to be going well.

  • It survived!
Size: Tripod
Occasionally I lug my keyboard someplace and wish I had a decent music stand. So I finally bought this portable stand - because it's portable. I've had it set up at home, and have been grateful for it. It's not as sturdy as the heavy stands we used to have in high school band, and it can't hold a 3" binder full of music. But that's ok. I don't really need 3" of music all at once. It's portable. Very lightweight, very easy to set up. I am concerned that careless handling could break the plastic part of the stand. I'm pretty sure it could. But careful handling should be just fine for a long time. I recently took my stand to a week-long event, and it was used by multiple people. It made me a bit nervous, because not everyone tends to treat other people's property with respect and care. When I saw a "stage helper" having trouble getting the stand to stay at the right height, I was concerned. When I saw how he'd turned the clamp in order to get the stand to stay, I was even more concerned. Had it been broken? Was I "out" a nice, portable music stand? I was so relieved when I looked closely to see that there was a loose screw. Sure enough, when I got home, I tightened it and all was well. Overall, it's pretty sturdy. The bottom part is substantial and well weighted. The music rack on the stand is the only part that's not - but that's because of its beauty, the way it folds down. A little TLC should keep this stand working for a long, long time! ... show more

  • Good for price
Size: Tripod
Great for the price, and works very well. One small issue, when fully extended it will fall if not orientated with one of the legs under the boom.

  • Bought for Price and Weight
Size: Tripod
My wife sings and needs a stand at times to go alone to gigs by public transportation. She hates anything like carrying a normal mic stand which could weigh 5-7 lbs. This is about 2.5 lbs without the boom. Yes, it seems like the wing nuts could be the first things to go, but for her, the weight is the most important thing. If we do gigs together with transportation, we take the sturdier stands. ... show more

  • Don’t worry, it’s a very good mic stand!
Size: Tripod
I was torn on buying this because the reviews seemed mixed. Maybe I’m not an A-list professional and not as picky but I have a podcast that I do at minimum twice a week, I use my Shure MV7 usb mic, and as long as you’re planning to be sitting and keep one of the legs extending with the direction of the mic (as in don’t have the mic between two legs as the weight distribution is thrown off) it’s perfect. It’s heavy enough that I set it down on plush pile carpet and it’s good to go. ... show more

  • It falls over
Size: Tripod
Not very stable. Once you put a mic into the clip on the boom, you can't even get half a boom length before the stand falls over. This is the first tripod boom mic stand I've ever bought and will probably be the last. Other than that, it appears well made.

  • Light weight
Size: Tripod
If you're looking for a heavy stand, this is not it, but I knew that when ordering it works perfect for what I needed it for. this will be staying home and won't leave the house, so no chance of it getting beat up.

  • Mic Stand
Size: Tripod
My new mic stand does everything I wanted it to do. It can lower to pick up my guitar and rises high enough for my voice. I'm 5'4". I didn't check how high it can extend. I folds up into a long, thin bag that's included. It's lightweight.
