On first use the pot and glasses proved to be just the right size. Looks small but is 1100ml and that works well. Handle and lid are both good. Pours perfectly. Glass infuser works well. Rubber seal on the infuser is easily removed and isn't really needed. Boils on the gas burner and on removing the infuser had very little residue in the pot from brewing loose tea leaves.

This "Unbreakable Glass Teapot" arrived with both tea cups smashed into pieces right out of the box. The teapot itself was intact, but you cannot use it without the Infuser since the lid is too small for the teapot opening so it can only sit on the Infuser itself. If all this is not enough, to pour the tea you have to hold the lid with the Infuser in place for them not to fall out of the pot. The whole thing looks and feels like some practical joke.

I really like the shape and design of this tea pot. The cups are 4 ounce, so they don't really fit well with modern expectations. Tea cups traditionally are between 4 and 6 ounces, but we aren't dainty or elegant in this modern era. These are two mouthfuls in the modern era, where they were 20 or 30 sips in days gone by. But the pot has a great look, is safe for use directly on the stove, and includes a really great diffuser. The pot is a quart and 1/6th, so it holds a fair amount for one or two people using a modern mug.
