These candles are fantastic! This one is in my living room, one is in my bedroom and I gave one to a friend. If you don't have the remote there's a small switch under the bottom. I love the ambiance and how the flame light can be lowered and increased using the remote. Aside from the candle I purchased the gold and black ceramic chain from Amazon. Nothing I didn't like it hasn't candle scents, that's it. It's safer to use than real candles. It's batteried, has time setting and lightening control. Easy set mood, beautiful, romantically easy set what ever t your mood too. Ooh, and has a remote can easily do with out getting up. I ❤️ it.

The candles are smaller than what I thought but they are beautiful! I bought the grey ones and the design of the tray I put them on reflects onto them when they are turned off. I have not noticed a difference in the candle and light mode. The light of the candle flickers the same in both modes, but that’s not a deal breaker since they are beautiful when lit up.
