So I waited until I actually camped in this thing. The good: very spacious on the inside. We got four cots no issue and still had room. It’s made of quality canvas. It is super easy set up. A little buddy heater on low will warm it up great. It’s tough. We left it up in a windstorm in the woods with 60Mph winds and it stood there fine. The only rain that got in was because I forgot to close the flaps on the door so operator error on that one. Once I got it all zipped up it was water tight. And dried really fast the next day. Within 20 min of opening it up. The only bad things I have to say about it is. It’s heavy. But if you want quality it’s going to weigh a bit. My other grip is there are a lot of cordage with this tent that stick out pretty far. Other that that this was a great buy I don’t regret. I’ve done a lot of tent camping and this is the best one I have found. I absolutely love it. ... show more

Very spacious...says 4 person tent but could easily fit 6.....maybe 7. Put it up to get it water proofed...sprayed it down with the hose, then it had about 2 hours of evening light..... Big storm at 4 am ....another storm the following day. Tent looks as good as it did when first put up and inside was completely dry.... Not one drop of water to be found.... Holds up to wind and rain.... No chance to try it in snow yet..... But am confident it will not disappoint. The only thing I dislike is that the opening for the chimney pipe is so close to the door...... Other than that, we ate very well pleased and would highly recommend! ... show more

I bought thus yurt to live in until I build my house. There are a few thing that someone buying should know. When you pull the floor out and stake it you will find that the front door will not zip up. and you are left with a large hole. The stove hole flap is not on the side of the picture, It is on the right-side of the door and not in the back. The hole of the stove vent is larger then 4inches. the zippers for the windows are on the inside and there are no covers for the outside of them. the floor is a bowl it is thick . It does not stop the cold from the ground. The Yurt does stay about 5 to 10 degrees hotter then outside. It has held up in the wind and even a small snowstorm. I have been living in the tent for about two weeks now and I am glad that I Bought this item just needs a few adjustment and this would be the best tent I have ever owned. We (family of four) just camped in this for a week on the Oregon coast, about 200 yards from the beach. It held up great in the wind, moisture, mud, sand, and rain! Make sure you set it up, spray it down, and let it dry before you take it camping. Get a wood stove for it, If you're camping where it's cold. Be sure to have some sort of safe heat shield under it. It warms up well and helped us stay comfortable. We could live in this tent pretty easily. I am 6'2" and can stand up comfortably near the center of the tent. I have owned several tents throughout my life and have done all kinds of camping, this is by far the best tent I've owned. It comes with a few extra parts. 👍 It is heavy, so it is not a backpacking tent. Take it camping where you don't have to haul it very far. We absolutely love this tent and can't wait to take it on more trips! ... show more

UPDATE After about a month our tent started developing black spots on it. It had been rained on ONCE. I just assumed it was dust. I wiped it down but they didn’t go away. After a bit longer the entire tent was covered. I realized that th black spots where INSIDE th tent. My children and I would go to bed coughing and not really knowing why. This tent is NOT 100% Canvas and you are running th risk of poisoning yourself from MOLD if you get it. There is something very faulty in the design that does not keep out mold. I’ve tried several things to clean the mold off but I’m finding that I’m just more so gonna have to trash this tent. I’ve reached out to the company several times with zero response. What a disappointment: FIRST REVIEW First I’ll say I was VERY HAPPY with my tent, myself and my children unboxed it’s and set it up in like 20min. We loved it our first few nights. But We soon realized that this tent has a HUGE FLAW. There are several places with large holes in th tent that allow all kinds of critters in at Will. We first realized that even with zipping the tent bugs where everywhere, we would have to inspect the tent for spiders and what not every night before bed. It became a routine. Then it got worse. The holes had no way to be covered at all and th ants came. I spent so many hours daily killing ants and clearing them from our tent. I put down any killer but still without an ability to seal th holes in my tent we are now just sad and out $550. I put duct tape up but on the side holes but it comes off easily with the heat and wind and there is absolutely no way possible to cover the zipper area in the front of the tent because we go in and out of it. My five year old suffered from a fire ant in his ear and I got bit 6 times in my belly button! My daughter has a series of spider bites and ant bites. No matter how hard we try we can’t keep them out because of the POOR DESIGN of this tent. I’m beyond sad that I had to learn this AFTER th return date passed or I would send this tent directly back to the maker. ... show more

Update: I’ve had this tent up for one whole year and it is starting to fall apart. The sun damage is just too much for the material. It started to develop holes where the tension rope pulled on the cloth. It was really nice while it lasted. I’m not sure if it’s worth patching all the holes. Five hundred dollars for one year of use… meh Waterproof, beautiful, and spacious. It came with instructions but it was a little confusing. But it’s not hard to put together and almost self-explanatory. Loved that it came with heavy duty ground stakes and a mallet. ... show more
