This rug is super soft and fairly easy to clean. I bought one small enough that I machine wash it on gentle and let it air dry. The quality matches the price, but it looks more expensive than it is.

I’ve had this rug for a year and a half and I’m going to be replacing soon. It hasn’t been wearing well and doesn’t vacuum easily.

It’s very soft, and looks nice…but because the shag is so long, it’s really difficult to keep clean if it’s in a high traffic area. Crumbs and dirt find their way to the base of the rug then the fibers can basically become tangled like dreadlocks and trap the dirt where the vacuum can’t get them easily. This matting of the fibers can also happen if it’s placed somewhere that people sit a lot with their feet on the carpet. The carpet is also thinner than the type you buy at a place like Walmart. It’s more of a bath mat thickness, so there isn’t much padding (around 1/4 inch), and it can move around more easily than a traditional area rug. It is easier to store and much lighter weight though. So whether or not this rug is right for you really depends what you’re looking for. It would be great for a dorm room, or less trafficked areas where you want a cheap rug for aesthetics. But it might not be the best for protecting your living room carpet or hardwood long term, and it doesn’t really add much padding for hard floors. I would probably give it 3.5 stars if I could, but I rounded up.
