  • Beautiful keyboard
Color: GamaKay Crystal Switch
The keyboard itself is heavy! I expected something light but nope. I love the design overall, especially the RGB lights.

  • Gamakay = gmmk..?
Color: GamaKay Phoenix Switch
This is a lovely kb, and the first 'rgb' kb I've ever remotely found interesting. The acrylic body, hot-swap switches, puddin' caps, and the robust rgb's are all far above the quality I expected. I chose Phoenix switches, and they are legit quiet - this is the first (mech) kb that I would happily deploy in a shared office-like environ. But better...: the sound/feel. I roll Topre on the daily for many years now, and this is the first cherry style that i've ever liked - so much that It's my main since the day it arrived. I'm typing on it now, in my LR on an iPad Pro as my partner eats Torchy's Tacos right next to me oblivious to the giddy silent chatter of this review. These Phoenix are light actuation, and with the internal poly-stuffin's it's gently dampened, like a little fingertip pat on a fresh little baby's diaper. The spacebar- tho quiet - is a bit louder, and I thought about solving that, but the tone so superbly accents the din of the other keys that I said NO!. NO, I will NOT fiddle with this spacebar, it's PERFECT! Said that to myself. I wouldn't say that out loud, that's crazy, that would make me sound crazy. Know what IS crazy? The resplendent light show that this kb is capable of. My partner calls it 'your rave box'. Whatever. ... show more

  • Holy Crap, one hell of a keyboard!
Color: GamaKay Phoenix Switch
I don’t know what to say, this keyboard left me speechless. It was only 90 dollars and what you get is worth way more. I got this not expecting much but it is one if the sturdiness keyboards ever. The build quality is amazing. Stabilizers are not even that bad. No ticking sounds from it. I got the phoenix switches and holy crap these are amazing feeling. Literally the quietist switches I ever owned. Even more quiet than a laptop keyboard. Not to mention, the whole keyboard has foam in between the pcb and the keyboard itself. The lights are super bright and customizable. NOT TO MENTION ITS WIRELESS, I literally use this in bed whenever I have to type out anything. Fell in love with this compact keyboard. The keycaps also do not feel cheap at all. It feels really nice and has a nice grip to it. Typing experience is one heck of a change for this keyboard. Blew me away from the opening of the box to me using it. Not to mention, its a 5 pin hotswappable. So if you don’t like your switches just switch them out. If you ever want to get into keyboard I HIGHLY recommend this. ... show more

  • Phoenix Switch is the Quietest, Keyboard is amazing
Color: Phoenix Switch-XDA
The media could not be loaded. This is everything I was looking for, I'm typically against wireless keyboards for gaming purposes, but this keyboard is actually really great. The pheonix switches are near silent, and the keyboard itself is so adorable. It's a lot heavier than I expected, which is good for me so it's not accidentally pushed or moved while using. The only issue I have with it is changing the LEDs, it's really confusing. You hold the function key with some of the other keys to change the pattern and speed of the LEDs, I haven't figured out how to get it to do what I want yet. And sometimes it stops responding to me trying to change the LED light pattern, which sucks. But honestly, with all of the other qualities of this keyboard I don't even care ... show more

  • Acrylic KB you can't help but love
Color: Gateron Brown Switch
Let me start by saying anything is better than a membrane keyboard. This is absolutely no exception. If you like RGB (and I do) then you should love this kb. There are several rgb modes that are easy to cycle through and toggle using the function keys. The keys felt great and had a noticeable thonk when tapping away while working and playing. And the real piece-de-resistance is the connectivity. You have options here. Multiple BT connections are available, there's an rf adapter and of course you have usb connectivity. I'm pretty sure this kb has taken care of it all while looking great and plenty flashy. ... show more

  • The best keyboard I have ever used
Color: GamaKay Phoenix Switch
I did not expect to fall in love with this keyboard, it's super quiet and feels amazing to type on. I got the one with the Gamakay Phoenix Switches and they are by far my most favorite switch I've used. I've used Cherry MX Browns, Blues, and Silent Reds and Cherry MY switches. The MX Silent Reds I used were super loud compared to this and didn't feel great to type on. It's a beautiful keyboard even with the lights off. The build quality feels great and I hope it lasts! ... show more

  • Too opaque
Color: GamaKay Phoenix Switch
I have the womier k67 which I think share the same parent company as gamakay. (not sure) It is a similar keyboard in that the main focus is the RGB and transparency of the frame. The womier has south RGB and the gamakay has north RGB. The frame of the gamakay also seems far more opaque. The result is that my womier is far more "RGB" in that the lights look brighter and pass through the frame more. Basically everything else about the gamakay is better. Build quality, sounds better, looks better, can be wireless, etc. I've owned expensive keyboards but in the end I just like the RGB lol. This gamakay is nice but the RGB feels very lacking. If youre gonna have a transparent frame then it shouldnt be so opaque. The light is too diffused. ... show more

  • Great frosty 60% with all the features at decent price
Color: Gateron Brown Switch
This is one of the few out there that has acrylic frosty base, rgb, wireless/wire connectivity, 60% form factor, and hot swappable. Price was less than expected, I paid an extra couple bucks and had it in hand 24 hours later.
