  • At this price, not much to worry about.
Item Package Quantity: 1
Great value. I'll be an occasional user at most, so if this is low on features, I wouldn't know or necessarily care.

  • It's straight but...
Item Package Quantity: 1
Just received my biscuit joiner and it does a great job of buiscuit joinery! No complaints. My complaint is similar to others in that it came broken. The packaging is terrible with the tool floating around in the box. That said, it is very easy to see why the thing clogs up with chips of wood and where mine broke, it allows the chip to clear themselves very nicely. If I were a pro, I probably wouldn't have bought something so cheap but I am a weekend warrior building an RV in a school bus and have a specific use in mind. My initial tests of this item gave me great results and my seams are perfect. The tool doesn't clog up with saw dust because of the break either. So, yeah I get sawdust all over the lower right side of my shirt but I am getting what I needed. I gave 4 stars strictly because of the broken item. But, for the money, I will take it. ... show more

  • A very good cutter at a very reasonable price. Great Value!
Item Package Quantity: 1
I had never owned a biscuit cutter before, or used one. I studied the available models before selecting this cutter and decided to try it mostly because of the price and the reviews (thank you to all who reviewed the item). I just finished my first desktop using the cutter on oak boards and am very pleased with the performance. Be sure to clear out the vacuum bag before it gets compacted... that means every 7 or so cuts. The only potential issue for some buyers is that the "deck" doesn't have a raising mechanism like some of the more expensive models, but if you're planning to mostly use the cutter for standard boards (1x whatever) it will work perfectly. And, for occasions when you want to use it for dimensional lumber, you can always set the cutter on a board(s) to raise the deck to the desired height for your project. One other comment on the packaging... I was amazed that there was no damage to the item because the packaging doesn't seem secure, or substantial enough for the size of the item. But, mine arrived in perfect condition. A really great product at a truly reasonable price. ... show more

  • The Quality I Wanted, at Half the Price of Competitors!
Item Package Quantity: 1
I debated between this, the cheap one, or the Dewalt, the expensive, yet tried and tested one. I ended up with this one because for the time being I presumed my use to be minimal. While I have used this tool regularly, it is not something I employ on a daily basis. That being said, I have had no issues with it whatsoever in performing the task it was designed to. If I had one complaint it would be that even with a shop vac hooked up to the dust collection outlet (with the appropriate hose diameter reduction in place) it can become a bit stuffed with shavings. Not sure if that's on me or if the internal chamber could have been designed a little bit better to encourage better flow of waste wood. Still though, 5 stars due to quality and value for money. Would highly recommend for anyone that doesn't see the need to spend the extra $100+ on the more established brands. ... show more

  • Good joiner for the money
Item Package Quantity: 1
This is the first Biscuit joiner I have operated/owned. I bought it for wood working projects around the house so I couldn't see spending double on another joiner that I wouldn't be using everyday. I have made about 200 cuts with it so far and am very impressed with the joiner on every level but one. Unless you make your cuts very slow, the dust collection gets clogged very easy and the bag(when collecting properly) will need to be emptied after every 5 or 6 cuts on the #20 biscuit setting. The tool makes accurate cuts and has run flawlessly so far. I have been using #1 pine so the wood has been pretty soft. 4 out of 5 stars for the sub par dust collection. Let the blade get up to speed like normal, make every cut slow and empty the bag often and that will help alleviate this problem. ... show more

  • Good machine, cheap blade.
Item Package Quantity: 1
So far only to give this unit 3 stars. The biscuit joiner runs and works but the factory blade is absolutely garbage. Didn’t matter if it was hardwood or softwood, the blade would burn the wood. Either the blade is just junk, or not sharpened from the factory (dull) or I received a defective blade. I will update after the new blade arrives. Overall the biscuit joiner seems well built and does have some heft to it, which is nice because I don’t feel like I will break it. All the adjustments work fairly well as far as the angle adjustment and the height adjustment, the depth adjustment on the other hand does work but is loose and sloppy. Will have to tinker with it to see if I can make it better. For a first time biscuit joiner purchase I am overall happy with it and would recommend it, just check the blade on some scrap wood first before diving into a project. Amazons customer service was great as always, I received a partial refund in order to purchase a quality blade to see if that will fix the issue with this joiner, hopefully it does. ... show more

  • Great value for this workhorse.
Item Package Quantity: 1
This is a great machine for the weekend woodworker. Is easy to use and does a better than expected job. You don't have to worry about being off a little on your measurements because the the biscuits are slightly smaller. Your worry is not cutting the holes but that the biscuits swell with the glue. This is a well built tool. Heavy because it has a strong motor. I used it on walnut, maple and oak and it cut all with ease. Pine would not be a problem for this tool. I recommend it with 5 stars. ... show more
