My mom bought 2 of these twin bed frame for my kids as a gift. We were both concerned it would be flimsy but surprise surprise...... they are really sturdy! Assembly was pretty easy.... once you get past the Ikea-like instructions. We assembled the 1st bed in 40 min. Would have been faster but getting the hang of it and deciphering the instructions took a bit. Would have been slower if there was only one of us but 2 of us got the job done at a steady pace. The second frame was assembled in 30 mins. After assembling the first one, we didn't need instructions for the second round. Some of the metal slates/bars that support the mattress came warped at the little tabs that pop into the support beams. This was slightly annoying but nothing that a hammer couldn't straighten out. Everything is assembled with an Allen/Hex key. Kudos for that. Beds have about 12 inches of space underneath which is nice because we can store things underneath since it's a small room. I also recommend purchase a non slip/anti skid thing (like the ones you place under rugs) to place under the mattress. The mattress slides on the metal bars but it's nothing we can't fix with one of those. I will say the packaging sucks. Its all the metal parts packed tightly into a box... then inserted into a larger box. ZERO PADDING/CUSHION! The smaller box, that is what I assume the manufacters packaging, was very obviously thrashed around in the larger box.....which explains why some parts were warped/bent. The box could not handle all the thrashing during shipping and both beds arrives in mangled boxes. The shipping boxes were literally ripped open and one had a huge tear from top to bottom. Please improve your shipping packaging! So I took one star away because of that, instructions, and warped parts. So if you don't get a damaged one, it's a great bed. My 10-yr old daughter really liked this bed. My wife put it together fairly easy and was also very pleased with it. The one reason we aren’t giving it 5 stars is because it doesn’t have a lip/trim/metal to hold the mattress from sliding to one side or the other. Other than that it’s great.

Still holding up. We brought this over a year ago for our toddler. There have been only minor issues. The paint rubbed off in one stop(possiable from moving, I’m not sure). The biggest concern would be the rails underneath are getting bent. My husband and I often lay with our son, so we are often over the weight limit. I would not get this for an older child or teenager for that reason. However for a young toddler or child it’s great. We plan on buying another one for our other son. As other said, it does take a little bit to bit together because each rail has to go in separately. ... show more

I've had it for over 2.5 months now. Nice frame. Great for the price. My only gripe is that the mattress slides all over, even though the mattress claims to "not need a boxspring." But it's worked really well for my 18-year-old sister who stays here a few nights a week. I put it together myself (32-year-old female) and besides a few tiny mistakes, it wasn't too bad. And the mistakes were just having a rod backwards or whatever. You catch those mix-ups quickly because you get to the next step and immediately see your error. Easy fix to just unscrew, flip it, and screw them again with the little wrench they supply. I rarely give 5⭐ reviews, but this one is pretty close. ... show more

I'm not sure what the other negative reviewers were smoking, saying it's hard to put together. I'm a 27 year old girl, 7 months pregnant and was able to assemble this bedframe on my own in under an hour. My daughter was so excited for her big girl bed! It is easy assembly, would look nice in any room, and is the right price! My only complaint is the mattress slides around easily - it's being held on by a bedrail right now but when that goes away, I will have to figure out a way to keep the mattress from sliding off sideways. ... show more

Perfect for my guest room - when our young grandson visits. I wouldn't want anyone over 150 lbs on it. Don't think it would hold together with great weight. But it fills the purpose we have it for and it is an attractive design. It was fairly easy to put together. I have cognitive issues and I was able to assemble it. So... yeah. If I can put it together a monkey can do it. The only reason I gave four stars it that it does seem that it can't hold much weight. ... show more

I bought a full sized frame for my bed and it was the perfect height and very sturdy. Very easy to put together. I ended up buying a twin size frame for my dad and one for my son. I was worried that the twin wouldn’t hold up well for my dad as he is an adult. The only difference I can see after a couple of weeks is that my dad’s bed needed the hardware tightened after a week. Not ire if it is because it wasn’t tightened properly to begin with or if it is because he moves around more on the bed... all in all a really good frame as a full sized or twin sized bed! ... show more
