Weights are great. They have a strong smell for a few days, but it goes away. The fact that they are rubber and a little thicker than iron weights, makes it easier if you use them while doing Farmer's carry or other exercises while you hold them. Overall I am very satisfied with them

Nice feel, look, while easy to maneuver or handle. Better than expected. The only negative is the distinct odor coming off the plastic. I’m not sure if it was an oil-based protective coating. I had to leave them outside for two days to air out. They seem to be OK now!

Ordered two sets of these to start to build out my home gym. I like the grip-handled, rubber-coated weights I was using at the Y so went with these. Reasonable price. Arrived in one box per set and the second you opened them WOW smoky rubber ashtray smell. Washed them in hot water with dawn soap, rinsed with white vinegar, then sat outside for two weeks before they could be brought in. Now about six months later they're fine...you can smell them a little when it's humid out and when you put them up near your face. Functionally perfect, accurate weight.

I had ordered several different easy grip rubber covered Olympic weights. I encountered a problem with the rubber material and I was satisfied with the solution that was taken care of quickly. The weight plates had a slight smell from manufacturing process but I wiped each plate off with Windex and the smell was gone in 2 or 3 days. Shipping was done in nice boxes and each plate was wrapped in a good grade plastic bag. I believe this company does care about it's product and tries to ship these heavy weights as best as possible. I have been using these plates for a short while now and have been satisfied with them.
