Have been looking for some landscape lights to use on my balcony for a while. I've seen others I've liked but couldn't find any with flat bottoms that would work on a railing. These are perfect. I used a light bead of Gorilla Glue around the perimeter of them to anchor to the railing so they wouldn't fly off. As you can tell, they're pretty bright; but I noticed the battery on one seemed a little weak. I have 2 extra lights so that's not a problem. I still gave them a 5 star because I'm so happy with them and the batteries that come with these types of inexpensive items never seem to be very good anyway. I often just plan on replacing them with rechargeable Energizers because they work well and last long. I've had the solar rope lighting, which came from Amazon too, since last year. We have had various yard lights over the years. These are quite different in that they are small and made of plastic instead of metal. Lightweight, easy to install - they look great. Our order was missing a couple of stakes. Because I had already installed 14 before realizing that, returning them was not something that would be feasible. But, no problem - your representative told me that since the missing stakes couldn’t be sent separately, another whole order would be sent to me the next day. I’ve had this a little over a year. While some of the lights have maintained, out of 16 lights, 4 have stopped working entirely. Using energizer rechargeable batteries, the lights are still not working. Several others are now starting to loose their charge faster. Sadly, while I really liked these, their longevity leaves a lot to be desired…. Update: after leaving a review, the company reached out and offered to replace the ones that stopped working. This was a huge surprise and I am grateful for it! I was just trying to figure out how and when to start replacing the failed lights but it seems now j don’t have too. It’s rare to see a company do so much to help out the customer. I will return if and when I need more lights. ... show more

Battery life is good, with appropriate sunlight they will last all night. They arent as vright as the sun but they light up a small walkway I have in the back just fine. Be aware that the plastic is not the sturdiest but I didn't jump on them so they're good. For the price, I'd buy again.

I installed these lights last weekend and they are nice and bright. They work all the way through the night and into the next morning and do exactly what I needed them to do. I would recommend them to anyone. The price was very good also.
