I loved these, easy to install and nice brightness. But just under 2 years and half of them no longer work. I tried replacing the rechargeable batteries as sometimes they stop holding a charge over time. But that didn’t fix them. Still considering buying a second set because we did enjoy them and the price is reasonable, recognizing they won’t be a really long term solution. ... show more

Right out of the box they all work. Dim lights but pleased so far. This is a good company to deal with. UPDATE: After 2 nights of all 12 working, one decided to stop. Wrote to company and they want a picture of the non working light. How stupid is that? Oh well, I guess I now have an 11 light set. Very disappointed. The saga continues: after my negative review, the company says they will replace the defective light. First, the simplicity of the lights are great, extremely easy to setup. The lights looks good, even complimented by one of my neighbors. Unfortunately, I had to give them a 3-star because I bought 2 boxes of 16 (2nd box for spares), and after 5 months, 12 no longer work and now I have to try and find a place to recycle them. I have 5 left in the box as spare, with 15 still working, but not sure how long. The picture shows the tops of the ones that no longer work. These are not as originally pictured. I complained that the items did NOT have clear plastic windows as shown in the images, after I had ordered two sets that came with white opaque windows. The lights are so dim that they do not light up around them. I had a third set delivered after complaining to customer service, and was assured that it would be as advertised - flickering with clear plastic windows. This time they did in fact flicker, but the windows are still white opaque and we can barely see them in the yard, so we're sending them back again. The box they come in also has several photos of them with clear plastic so you can see the flickering flame. Very disappointing. And I live in southern Arizona and if they charged all day in the sun, they should have stayed lit beyond 10:30pm and they did not. My old tall solar torches are 6 yrs old and are still flickering brightly every night, almost the entire night. Size of lamp: very small (about 3" wide x 4" tall) Size of post: short which is what we wanted as a path light; did not want those tall torch lights Light quality: bad Flickering: OK Brightness: bad Color: warm flame ... show more
