This motherboard is really really amazing. As the description says it is a full ATX gaming motherboard. I found out some features that are hard to know unless you do some extremely deep digging on gigabits website. The number one thing I looked for was the M.2 slots. There are three of course, but what they don’t tell you is that the main one is a generation 4 for M.2. Which is near the center of the motherboard and comes with a heat sink. (Heat cooling cover.) The second M.2 slot is a generation 3 slot. Which is in the middle of the other M.2 slots. And the third and bottom slot, is for another generation 4 M.2. ... show more

    • Great board for the money
Great board for the money especially because it has PCI 4.0x16, wifi, and can run the 12th and 13th gen intel cpus. The down side was no external/built in USB C port and no drivers preinstalled. It is a wifi enabled board but without an ethernet connection, there is no internet connectivity. The only other option is to download the drivers on a flash memory stick from a separate computer and then install them on Windows. It is more of an inconvenience than anything, either you need to have readily accessible Cat6 or a spare computer to download drivers. ... show more

    • Good Motherboard if you're not overclocking
Great motherboard if you're not going to overclock a K CPU. I would not recommend it for an i9 though. I'm using it with an i5-12600KF. It has all the features I wanted (Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, more than 2 M.2 slots). You will need to be connected via ethernet to download drivers (or download them from the website's support section ahead of time) for the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to function. Windows 11 with 16GB RAM, an i5-12600KF and WD_BLACK SN850 NVMe SSD loads in 8 seconds from POST to desktop. Gigabyte's RGB Fusion is hot garbage for controlling RGB lights, but, I use OpenRGB which can give you control down to each individual LED if you want (only 5V argb) or I'll sometimes use SignalRGB because it has some lighting themes that I like. ... show more

It does what a motherboard should and the bios is easy to use. But watch those CPU corner arrows! On my revision, there is a white arrow at the corner that IS NOT the one. You can see the correct on on the metal, but that is covered by black plastic until you start to press in the CPU. While there is an arrow on that plastic - it's black on black so you won't see it. Especially if you saw the white one first! Fortunately it all survived that near disaster and it's up and running. ... show more

This board is perfect for my needs. Paired with a 12600, performance is excellent. Save yourself the trouble, if you are installing two sticks of memory, ensure that you install in slots 2 and 4 as per instructions, save yourself the hours of headache that I encountered where the system would fail to boot when XMP in enabled with memory installed in slots 1 and 3. ... show more

    • Important Information for 13 Gen CPU BIOS Updates. STRONGLY URGE NOT TO GET THIS PRODUCT.
TL;DR - Poor documentation and weird roundabout to work (read below for full instructions if you purchased this product). This is NOT a beginner-friendly installation if you're using a 13th gen core processor (If you don't know if yours is for whatever reason, then SKIP this product). I was not given full paper installation guide (which was hard to get the QR code working for this specific one as well), and little to no instruction on what to do for 13th Gen CPU. If you don't decide to refund this PoS, once you get the BIOS on a fresh USB, Change the name of the .F20 file to GIGABYTE.BIN (make sure this is exact, including extension as well, all caps). Put it in the Bios USB port and while the computer is plugged in and powered, but NOT turned on, click the bottom button on the motherboard (QFLASH_PLUS, check the picture on the User's Manual) and wait for the flashing to stop. It will take an upwards of 5 minutes and afterwards it should do a couple cycles of running and turning off before working. Honestly, it was a miracle that this even worked in the first place. This caused me unnecessary headaches and I would not bother getting this motherboard or even consider it had it not been the only one to arrive in 2 days. Now that I've learned what to do, I'd still not recommend getting this board until they update their documentation on their website. It was such a hassle. ... show more
