    • Great Card, terrible software
Out of the box the card performs extremely well. There isn’t much room for overclocking at all, but you can squeeze out a little bit more from afterburner. The cooler’s size is justified because it runs super cool. Because of this the fans don’t have to work very hard, and they run extremely quiet. Zero coil whine whatsoever. The card is of excellent build quality, but if you’re purchasing this for aesthetic reasons, you need to consider the fact that RGB Fusion 2.0 is possibly the worst RGB control software in existence. For inexplicable reasons the software will detect the card one day, and then completely forget it the next. This can be extremely annoying if you’re doing a themed build, and almost defeats the purpose of having an LED display on the card. This is a shame because the idea is a phenomenal one, and when it does actually work, it’s a really cool feature. If they can fix that, this is a 5 star card. But I doubt they will since these issues have been present long before the 3080 came out. ... show more

    • Overpriced Card For a Myriad of Issues

I bought this card about a month ago and was initially impressed by its initial performance especially since I got this at a very reasonable price from amazon. However, this would all change about a week into using it. First off, the software for this card, RGB Fusion and Aorus Engine, are absolutely terrible as they never seem to recognize my GPU if these applications even open at all. Second, my card would randomly freeze at times with my screen going black and the GPU fans going to max rpm. After trying out various solutions which include redownloading all drivers and software, enabling Debug mode in the Nvidia control panel, and even replacing my whole PSU, my card is still acting up! I have called Gigabyte twice and emailed them twice about this issue but not once anyone got back to me. I am just about to start the RMA process. As much as possible, avoid cards from Gigabyte like the plague and buy GPU's from somewhere else. ... show more

Dang man, this card is sick. Somehow......Somehow I was able to get this card this week. I think it was a SKU that hadn't been on Amazon so I was able to get before the bots and boy am I glad that I did. This thing is HUUUUUUUUGE, but it stays cool and runs like a beast. 4 slots is silly. Nice work Gigabyte! ... show more
