Update: Three months down the road and I still absolutely love it. Beautiful, sturdy, and will be in my family for a while I'm sure. ❤️ Finally added a photo. Just as pictured in the ad. ******* I bought this so I could rock my granddaughter when feeding her and getting her to sleep, and I'm so completely satisfied with my purchase. I was concerned that it would be thin and cheap, but I was gladly mistaken. It was easy to put together. The back, legs, and arms come put together already so you're basically just attaching everything to the seat. I put it together myself and it only took about 20 minutes. It's sturdy, comfortable, and so beautiful. If you're on the fence, just get it. You won't be sorry. I wouldn't put it outside. I'm pretty sure it's only meant for indoors. I'll definitely be handing this down to kids and grandkids. I'll update this review if anything changes. No pictures, but it is as advertised. ... show more

I didn’t really want a black rocking chair - even though the seller photos make it look black - the color is espresso. I was very pleased when I opened the box and saw it was BROWN. Amazon should definitely update the photos to show it is very much a deep walnut color. The cushions are from Amazon too. You must tie them over the top of back or else it will crowd out the seat area. Assembly took about one hour since just drawings and no written instructions. But, I managed! Most of it is already assembled into sections that you assemble to other sections. Very minimal number of pieces. Definitely keep an eye out for the 2 number 2 screws. They are the longest screws and are needed for the attachment of arms to the back. Only tool needed is the hex screw provided. ... show more

It's well-packaged for shipping, has excellent instructions, very good quality for the price! I admit, I did modify it: I lowered the headrest 4 inches and recentered/realigned the center slats to make the rocking chair look more authentic, more toddlery, like one that you find in a toddler's room. It feels terrific, like old times! Comfy enough to sit in, even better if you have a cushion set. Nice to rock in...a great value! A bit of FYI: despite the data here saying the chair's okay for outdoor use, rubberwood (of which this chair is made) is not recommended for outdoor use; environmental changes over time will distort the wood, even set it up for rot, plus it will get attacked by fungi and insects. And...the modification is holding up solidly. ... show more
