Does it inhale apples (generally cut in half to fit in)? Yeah it does, alarmingly so. Does it make juice? Sure does, pretty frothy though. It isn't really that hard to clean but you will have to spend a few minutes on it. It might leak on the outbound area a bit also. Stuff is a little sticky now. I mostly just got to juice some apples to make some cider. I think I accomplished what I wanted but the amount of froth and bits that gets through is more than I would have wanted. Maybe the masticating one or just a press was the way to go. Still it churned on through everything I shoved down it and didn't seem to have any complaints. So I think it is doing pretty good considering it is on the cheaper side for these things.

Great juicer so far. I’ve made carrot, watermelon and honey dew juice and the results have been good. I don’t mind putting in a little extra work to strain the juice with a smaller (tea infuser style) filter to get it completely in liquid form. That might be the only case to not buy this juicer because it will require some elbow grease to thin out the juice. It’s just my preference.

This juicer gets the job done. Will blend pretty much anything that you put in it and produces a decent amount of juice. Cleaning it can be a pain, but I have found that the Scotch Brite scrubbers (these are the only ones that I have found to work and I'll link below) do an AMAZING job at getting most of the gunk out of the strainer. If you can't get it all with that, soak in oxi-clean (I use generic brand) overnight and then scrub with Scotch Brite pad. It should basically peel off. Overall, a great juicer for anyone who is not an intense juice addict. I make a few juices a week and this product works great for me. This thing is amazing for the price! I did a LOT of research before purchasing this one, and I was a little skeptical. A lot of juicers have similar reviews, such as: pulp in juice, pulp is moist, metal shavings in juice, smell of a burning motor. I'll tell you my thoughts on all this, keep in mind, I am a novice juicer, have only used this juicer, and have only used this thing three times (granted I'm juicing for two weeks worth of juice at a time, so about 30 min or so use at a time, so good experience with it). Pulp in juice: yes, pulp gets in the juice. What I have noticed is there is a VAST amount of pulp if you let it build up near the top where it is thrown out. Simply shake the juicer a bit and maybe knock where it's stuck to get it to fall into the trash container. Doing this significantly reduced the pulp in the juice. Pulp is moist: yes, it's a bit moist. I don't feel as if I could squeeze juice out of it though. It's definitely not wet, and while I have limited juicing experience, I've read reviews of a $500 juicer doing the same thing. It's not that much of a waste. Metal shavings in juice: I have not experienced this and I can almost guarantee people are experiencing this because they don't read directions. Directions say to make sure the strainer is pushed down and locked into place. I've seen pictures where it clearly looks like people have not done that. Smell of burning motor: I have experienced this, but only because I pushed the motor too hard, one time, in the beginning. It's not the most powerful motor out there, but with a little common sense (back off pressing down on the product and let the motor spool back up) it works just fine, even with beets. To add, clean up is a lot of work and can be time consuming? It's not a big deal if you don't do it often. I make two weeks worth of juice at a time, and including clean up, it takes 45 min to 1.5 hours, depending on my workflow. Hope this helps!

I purchased a refurbished unit. Came meticulous, wrapped and in perfect condition. What really surprised me was how happy I was with it's speed and power - especially for such a small unit. I purchased it solely to make apple juice from granny smiths (I'm allergic to vinegar and hear it was a good option to use). I jumped when I put the first apple in because it granned it and started juicing before I could put the pusher in. I hade quartered the apples and it juiced them as fast as I could put them in. The pulp coming out the back was perfect because I didn't' have to stop to unload the grinding area. The outside of the pulp collection area was just a little messy when I took it off, but wiped with one paper towel. Once rinsed, all of the parts went into my dishwasher. I love this machine so much - I'm going to throw some carrots at it, just like my grandmother did with her original Acme juicer from the 50's.

Practico , fácil de limpiar viene con su propio cepillo de limpieza . Aparte tritura muy bien los vegetales y frutas ! Ya tengo sobre 2 años usándolo y no me ha dado ningún problema . Muy conveniente para cuando tienes poco tiempo para preparar tu jugos . Ya que en menos de 5 mins prepara un jugo .

I bought this juicer last August and use it almost every everyday. I feel that is has already pretty much paid for itself. The only thing that has happened is one of the locking latches broke a couple of days ago. However, I found the part on ebay for for around $8 plus shipping. I’m sure there are more powerful juicers out there. But , if you are a beginner at juicing this is a good juicer to start with that isn’t expensive. So, almost a year in and using it almost everyday, I’d say it’s a pretty decent juicer!
