Took about 3 hours with the assistance from someone else to put this together. DEFINITELY have someone else help you, you'll be there all day otherwise. Very sturdy once assembled, and provides a ton of extra storage!

This island fits perfectly in my kitchen. It looks more built in than other islands. Took awhile to put together but was very easy. Only downsides: the wood top is sort of cheap and was scratched when it arrived and the brackets that hold up the leaf, they are loose so when the leaf is up it sags a bit, so I have to order some new brackets. ... show more

Was so looking forward to receiving this island and putting it together. I already knew from other reviews it was in many pieces and boy were they not kidding. It was a lot. That aside. My biggest complaint is I wish I knew a head of time to put something down before starting to assemble because I put it together on my hard wood floor and didn’t notice till after I had played the pieces down that they all got scratched up by my flooring. So just a far warning. Either put a blanket down or assemble on carpeting. ... show more

Was hesitant on purchasing this but it was just what I needed. Easy to put together, it may have taken me a bit longer than the average person because I was making sure I did it right but all and all it was easy and worth the time I put into it. I did get confused or stressed out one bit.
