Description

The instrument is only as accurate as the probe is clean probe cleaning is one of the most important parts of owning and operating any Bluelab meter or controller. If the probe is contaminated or dirty, it affects the accuracy of the reading displayed. The probe surface is where the instrument takes the reading of the solution. The information is sent back from the probe to the electronic brain of the instrument. A calculation is then done in the instruments brain or micro computer and a reading is then displayed. If the information sent back from the probe is inaccurate due to probe surface contamination then the reading will be inaccurate. Cleaning the probes is a very easy task and prolongs its life.

They include 3 jars, though no lids. The calibration solution comes in envelopes, that are not sealable. You are supposed test every 30 days. You only need a small amount of KCL to keep the probe tip wet. It evaporates quickly. They are making a mint on these chemicals. Not designed for the homeowner, or small operation. ... show more

I have nice cups all the same size. However, I have themed cups I enjoy drinking out of the most when it is just me having a drink. Since the cups are all different sized, it is a little hard to stack them. I said a little hard, not a big deal. I kept the stacking divider and would purchase them again. It is best to stack the bottom cup faced up and the top cup faced down for the different size cups. I would buy these again. ... show more
