Box came in perfect condition. Came earlier than stated. Box states not to use knife to open, not sure how to get through all the tape without a blade. All the parts were packaged nicely in the box. All the parts were labeled clearly. All the screws were packaged in little baggies and clearly labeled. The only tool needed is Phillips head screwdriver. A ratchet screwdriver is perfect, magnetic head a bonus. I put this together by myself and took me about 4 hours. I would recommend a second set of hands for the doors. I do suggest jumping ahead and put magnet onto part 5 before attaching to frame. There are few minor flaws but on the inside so can not be seen. There is a gap in the door but for me it's fine. I left the towel bar off for space and it would be against wall so useless anyways. The piece seems to sturdy enough for what I need it for. For a small kitchen I would recommend this piece.

Great island for the money! Well built, easy to put together, large storage area, I have all my pots, pans, lids, and strainers in the bottom and my 16 piece service set (silverware) in the drawer and it all fits with some room. I had to buy individual holders for each set (ie: knifes, small spoons, large spoons, small forks, large forks but it works and I love it!

I’ve only had this item for about a week. I assembled the item and the only tool that I needed was a Phillip screwdriver. It took me about 5 hours to put it together only because I would take breaks, eat, watch tv etc..I wasn’t in a rush to finish it. You will need help when it’s time to add the doors because you’ll need someone to help aligned the holes while you insert the screws. Overall, it is very easy to assemble. Just follow the diagram. I would recommend buying it. It looks nice and it appears to be sturdy.

It is best to have someone that knows a bit about engineering or mechanics to assist in assembling this thing. I returned mine because it fell over in step two and broke. Had I a second person to assist me that might not have happened. If the instructions were a bit easier to follow it also might not have happened. That said, it looks good and I am sure would have been a great piece for what I needed.

We are renovating our kitchen and thought this would make a nice coffee cart. It was better than we expected. Just be patient when putting it together. The instructions are a little complicated and building it was very time consuming. Overall, we love it!
