Set up took 2 hours for both. As you can see from the photos it is really beautiful. I plan to put the second table for my serger. I am not sure how durable these tables when I start my embroidery but will come back later. Overall, I am pleased with it. Update: When sewing, table does not wobble.

I have had this happen more than once now with Amazon products. The last one I sent back. I kept this because I desperately needed a table. The ORIGINAL ad was for a SOLID WOOD sewing table. It said SOLID WOOD in three different places in the description. That is why I ordered it in the first place. When it arrived, it was apparent it was manufactured compressed (MDF) wood. The back is a flimsy cardboard type of material. I am very unhappy with the false advertisement. And now when I go back onto the site - the product says "manufactured wood!" No where can I find the original product I ordered. It said on the instructions that it took 50 minutes to assemble with two people. I have built my own kitchen from scratch and have put numerous pieces of furniture together. This one took about 3 hours total. Many people said in their reviews that it was flimsy or "fell apart," but I did not find this the case. We glued all the dowels in and the finished product is very sturdy. I do have an issue that you have to use one of the raw included dowels to keep the door open on the left which just seems cumbersome and cheap. I was hoping for something that I didn't have to use a free floating product to keep the door open. The leaf is only supported by this one dowel in the very front of the cabinet, so I would be very careful putting anything too heavy on the back of this area. All in all - I have to admit that it will serve its purpose. I only wish that it was an honest advertisement of what I was getting. ... show more

I live in 800 square feet, so making good use of the space is important. This cabinet really optimizes the space. The assembly was easy. I would suggest that the instructions, being that they are just pictures to follow, show the sequence of putting the pieces together once all the screws and such are installed. I was able to do about 90% by myself. My husband had to help hold up the bigger pieces as we assembled them. The cabinet is easy to roll from one place to another. I was a little skeptical that the storage side would be small but I’m able to store larger things and still have room for more. A desk chair fits perfectly, and I like the design to open the front door with my tools right there handy. Considering the cost of things these days, I’d say this is good bang for the buck. ... show more

I love this table. It's just what I wanted. The side folds up and can be held by the left cabinet door for extra room when working on projects. The shelves on that door hold all of my thread and some of my notions. The shelf there is perfect for holding both my sewing machine and my iron. There is space underneath for my serger, as well. The right cabinet has a shelf where I keep my patterns and the bottom is where I put my sewing box (that is mostly empty now that my thread is all on those little shelves). I love the fact that you can raise and lower the left side as it saves room when I'm not using the table. Definitely recommend. Only problem I had was with the bottom shelf on the right side. It's a little uneven, though I think that was because of how I put it together. I'm not the handiest with tools. lol ... show more

This is the worst piece of furniture we have ever purchased. The instructions to put this together were horrible. Most of the screws and locks were awful and could not secure them to the wood. The material kept splitting. Don’t waste your money on this.

The instructions are good, if you follow them exactly as written. Sturdy materials, looks good when it is finished and exactly as it is in the photos. I like it. I put a 3 star rating on assembly because their estimated time is very optimistic, it is very heavy working on certain sections and an extra pair of hands then is really useful, and it is a good idea to have plenty of room to work and all tools at the ready. I bought this table for the design and ability to fold up into a small space, which it does. Overall I really love the table but the hardware included is cheap and breaks easily! It was fairly easy to build but the cam locks do not tighten enough to make the table sturdy. Two of the locks had pieces chip off while tightening! I’ve built a lot of furniture with these type of locks and was shocked to see how flimsy they were! The table wobbles from side to side even after much repositioning - nothing helped make it tighter. Now we’re going to have to purchase and install support brackets on the back to fix the wobble. One of the door knobs wouldn’t tighten all the way because the screw just kept spinning inside the knob. The biggest upset is that I’ve had the table for one day and the pins inside the hinges to the folding leaf broke clean off while lifting up to use it! I’ve had the table for only one day! Maybe the tension from the leaf placed in the down and hanging position over night weakened it? Either way that shouldn’t happen and we now have to find/purchase stronger hinges and hope they aren’t too difficult to replace. Pretty bummed. Definitely would have expected better hardware for a $200 table. Again great design and it looks really nice when all is said and done, but definitely expect to replace hardware. ... show more
