We bought 2 of the 48inch kennels. We used them for a makeshift kennel/ play yard for our dogs while on vacation to keep them from destin the house while we were gone, and in-between the pet sitter visits. I used sticky backs and zip ties to temp attach an end panel to the wall so that I could use my existing walls as part of the play yard, making room for a bigger part area. That idea worked great! I made 2 separate kennels, one for the smaller dogs, and one for my big girl. My biggest dog is a 75 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback/ Sheppard mix. She jumps on the panels and won't knock it down. The panels will move a little, but it keeps her in. I'm certain that if we had used the kennel outside with the stakes in the ground, it most likely wouldn't budge even with her weight. The 48inch panels are high enough that she can't jump them either. I thought, after reading reviews, that my small dogs might have a hard time getting in the gate, but they had no problems at all. Even my smallest, senior miniature shi tzu has no trouble at all. The gate is narrow, making it a tight squeeze for a bigger person, like myself. But, you can always lift the stake and just open the whole panel for easy access. It's no hassle at all, and only takes a few extra seconds.. For those, like us, using this in the house, we found a great set up using a cheap fake grass rug with a plastic drop cloth underneath it to catch any accidents and save your flooring from damage. It worked perfect for us, and it looks nice too. Don't bother buying any extra accessories, such as the plastic caps for the stakes, they don't fit, and fall off before you can even insert the stakes. I suggest just wrapping them with tape, if anything at all. I have luxury vinyl plank flooring, and the stakes have not scratched my floors at all.

We got this for our Yorkie/Dachshund mix puppy (now 5 pounds) so that he had some room to move around when left at home. After reading several reviews for other similar products, we were concerned about pieces breaking off that posed a choking hazard. We chose this playpen because there weren't any extra parts that could pop off. This playpen is well made while also being attractive. We have only pieced four panels together so far since he is so little, and it seems to be working fine. The panels go together in seconds and can also be taken apart very easily. There were no rough edges or sharp points for him to get cut on. The gate is plenty secure for our little guy and a nice feature as it makes putting food/water/bedding, etc into the playpen very easy. It does slide a little on our Pergo floor even though there are rubber pads on the bottom. Since he is little, he can't push it too far. If he starts to move it around too much, we will put "stickier" rubber pads on the bottom. This was a little more costly than some of the other playpens, but it is well worth it. He's happy being out of a confining crate, and we're happy because he's happy and safe!

Great fence and customer service I got 16 panels and they came in 2 packages, the first arrived and I had thought my order was screwed up so I contacted them and they responded within 24 hours to tell me the second package would be at my house within 2 days and sent a tracking number. The fence itself is great it's really flimsy on the first 3ish panels but after that it gains a lot of rigidity and sturdiness. Now if you own a big dog who is on the dumber side and rams the fence that might be a different story. As for the stakes they worked just fine for me I used a rubber mallet to get it all the way into the ground. I got the 48in tall panel and it is perfect for our American bulldog. Unless your dog can jump (luckily ours is too clumsy) then it should be fine for big breeds who aren't athletic. Lastly if you're a hefty person or have a big bum or gut that door will suffocate you. It's tiny but I can get through fine as a 5'8 200lb male. If not better learn how to jump over.

I love it! Light weight panels that are easy to move. The post are very thin but do the job. Its perfect for small dogs. I bought the 48in (the tallest I could find) for my 2 chihuahuas. One is an escape artist that sprouts wings to fly over everythign with ease. Even though he found other means of escaping this fence he can not jump over the fence it self, the other one, whom is a flight risk and loves to chase cars, cant get out at all. So shes safe and secure, and happy. No more tethers for her and she cant run in the road like she loves to do when outside. I bought 2 sets, so a total of 16 panels. The door ways are very narrow. This was so easy to put up, which is great because i have back problems. I can move it no problem and the panels are the perfect size for uneven ground. I can step ladder them to avoid gaps along the bottom. I think I may buy one more set so I can fully enclose the dog house to give them more space to run around with out the one jumping out. I'll be rearranging it again but for now this does what I wanted it to. The bad, it rust very easily. Ive had mine up for about 2 weeks. Its rained twice since and its showing rust already. Ill be buying rust protective spray paint to make it last longer. Its kind of expensive to be rusting so fast. But I do love it. They could improve it by using better paint to start it. or better metal. Jan 2018, Central Va. It shouldnt be rusting this fast.:(

Overall, this is fantastic! I bought 5 of the 8-panel 32" high pens. I pieced them together around the perimeter of my entire yard (roughly 35' x 35'). It went up super easy and the pins are slightly flexible which comes in handy when the ground is not level and thus lining up the sides of the fence is a little off. My property has a lot of rock so I had to play around with some of the pins to avoid the rocks. But again, the pins being slightly flexible helped with this too. Given I did not construct a small rectangle or square, I lost the advantage of the stability created at the corner pieces. However, it still stood up well on its own. Given I'm using it for 8 small pupsters, I didn't want to chance them pounding on it so I inserted small garden border fencing in strategic areas and secured the pen fence to it with zip ties. Voila! Zero wobbling. What's nice with ordering five is I have five gates which I placed strategically. I will get more pics of the broader yard and the garden borders once the snow melts. I installed the fence and then we got dumped on! At least I can let the pups out to romp around without the leashes (see attached pic for scale). My only complaint is the boxes they came in. They were beat up with holes, tears, tape falling off, etc.. I'm shocked that everything wasn't completely ruined. All of the fencing was in perfect condition despite this. However, across the five boxes I ended up missing four of the pins. One of the boxes actually had a handful of the pins sticking out through one of the holes. Again, pure luck they all weren't gone. I emailed Giantex to see if they will send me 4 replacement pins. They wrote back quickly asking for a pic of the piece needed plus pics showing what is wrong. I got the email in the middle of the snow storm so didn't write back. So they emailed me again today to make sure I saw their other email. Very nice. So I replied that I am waiting for the snow to melt so I can get pics of the fence where I zip tied a couple panels together since I am missing the pins. And I included a pic of the pins from the website. So far great customer service. But let's see if I get the pins! I will report back once we settle.

My son and his girlfriend purchased this and built an amazing pen for their 2 bunnies. This is amazing-they put in a plywood floor with lonoleum tiles and then put boards around the outside up to about 6 inches high so the droppings stay inside the pen. They shaped it like a long rectangle and it is about 6' long and 3' wide...very spacious! They can walk in and sit down with the bunnies inside the pen and it keeps the bunnies right near them with great ability to see them and the cats nearby. (The cats love watching them) These bunnies have it made! My only word of warning if used for a puppy is that sometimes if you give puppies too much room to roam while you are out they will go to the bathroom in one end and then end up getting it sll over them. Crate training is better if you keep a puppy in a crate that isn't too large so they won't think they can leave their droppings in one area and get away from it - they won't go if they don't think they can get away from it. If this is just used as a playpen then it would be great, but it is far too big to be used as a crate.

I purchased the 16 panel fence to use for my garden ! I did not want the problem of trying to build a fence. It works perfectly! I did use ground staples to secure it better. The area is 8x12 which is just enough for me to grow a few vegetables. No tools ! I had the help of a friend , just for balancing purposes, but you could do this alone if you had to !I got the 48 inch height. The gate on either end is Narrow! I will never get through there lol, but it is made for a dog, my 90 lb pitbull fit through just fine ! He loved it so much he did not want to come out ! But when I go in to tend to my garden , I will simply pull out one of the metal stakes that come with it and I am in ! When my garden is done I will move it to the lawn for my dog, great when I am doing my housework and want to put my dog outside, know he is safe. So yes it will be duel purpose for me! Bottom line: Very easy assembly, Can be used for duel purpose, Very quick delivery, Price a bit expensive , but I will have this for a long time, good investment. I LOVE it !!!!!!!

This is a good looking and fairly sturdy little device. I'm really glad we got it and I would buy it again.However if you have a cute little puppy that quickly turns into a big beast puppy, they will likely be able to get out. While it does keep its shape when free-standing, the design allows it to fold into sort of a diamond shape while set up, and then the panels can come undone. Like if you try to drag it across a room while set up, some of the panels will come undone. I have a baby rottweiler, and he disjointed one panel when he got excited, so I made sure the cage was in a corner so it was forced to keep it's square shape. He is now big enough that he could probably just step over the playpen, but he has not discovered that yet, so please don't tell him.
