I got my LG V50 before the stores had them in stock, and thus had no cases. I spent a good bit trying to decide whether to get the $50 case or the Ghostek Covert. I am so beyond happy that I chose the Ghostek Covert. It's sturdy and is truly designed to protect the phone all while being easy to put on, easy to hold, and not bulky. The case itself is great. Very good quality. Only problem I had is that it causes a haze over photos taken with flash. However, I made some slight adjustments, which fixed the issue, and now it's a great case! (I cut the area off that was separating the flash from the cameras.)

I've had my case for several months and there doesn't seem to be an issue with it. The one thing that surprised me was that it is clear pink. I didn't think I was going to like it, but now that I am used to it, it is pretty cool. It seems sturdy and after dropping my phone a couple of times, it has protected it well. This seems to be a great case - The true test will be once I drop the phone. I really like the slim design and the buttons fit nicely inside the case and I have had no issues using the covered side buttons. My only disappointment is the true color of the pink case. It is actually more salmon. While my kids view it as pink, a male coworker knew I was expecting a pink case and actually commented it did not really look pink (confirmation is good)! ... show more

The case arrived quickly, came nicely packaged and fit my LG V50 phone fine, but that's the best that I can say about it. First off the online picture shows the case as a dark solid looking rose color. IT IS NOT! The rose case is clear with a slight hint of light pink on the outside edges and corners. I was however still willing to give this faded pink case the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately though, after reading previous reviews on the rose colored case, I found a complaint stating that the rose case created a pink haze over their flash photos. That reviewer may have been content to remove the case in order to take flash photos, I am not!I I tried taking a few flash photos with the rose case on myself and had the exact same problem. The photos that I took had a pink cloudy blur over them ruining the photo. I've never had a case do anything like this before. I just feel that a good phone case should not only be attractive to the user, but also protect the phone without sacrificing its functionality. ... show more
