Love these lights. Easy to install, very bright but can dim via their phone app, and change colors to a any color you can imagine. Also has voice integration to use with Echo/Alexa enabled products..."Alexa...turn LED lights blue", and they instantly change color. Very cool. Only suggestion I have is measure where you are going to put them. The instructions are pretty crude (honestly how much do you need with stick on lights?), and it didn't say where to start or how to deal with shortage or overlap if installing on a TV. My mistake...I should have measured 9.2 feet on the back of my TV before I installed so I could wrap them equally so the gap was on the bottom of my TV (installed on a 65" TV, which is larger perimeter than this LED strip, I came up about 3 feet short). But as it is my gap is on the bottom right of the TV as I watch it. But honestly...they are cool, and bright enough to not worry about that gap. ... show more

This LED light strip seems at first glance like it’s going to be simple to set up and connect, but could not be further from the truth. Upon beginning to adhere it to the back of my television, I found it very unforgiving when it came to turning corners — the strip fights you at every turn and it is very difficult to get it to lay the way you want. Not a huge deal, I’ve worked with stubborn lights before — but then I got to setting it up. I was super excited to have Alexa-compatible lights for my TV, but when I downloaded the app and tried to connect the lights to their home app (they have to be connected to the home app before Alexa), the lights were nowhere to be found in the list of pairing devices, even when in pairing mode. I tried for a good half hour straight, and nothing. You also have to connect the home app to your Internet, which didn’t work, even though the Internet router name was right there in the list of available internet. From what I saw on the reviews of the home app (Gosund), this is a very common problem among people downloading the app and a huge source of frustration. Even after all that, I was going to just use them the same as any press-a-button lighting, but the connector (the bit that connects the lgiht strip to the power source) kept coming apart, so half the time I’m struggling to plug that back in so the lights will even work in the first place. Could not be more disappointed with this purchase, which is a shame because it was a huge excitement for me to have a few extra bucks to shill out for something I thought was going to be super fun and a great addition to my smart bedroom. ... show more

The lights are cute and fun but Gosund (the “smart”app) is terrible. I have two lightbulbs and now this from them that just won’t connect. It may eventually but after an hour I gave up. I will try again but sometimes it takes forever to get it to connect or it doesn’t connect at all. If you want Alexa enabled, buy a different brand. If you don’t care these are super cute! ... show more

I got this to brighten up my pantry. The instructions are not great for assembly. Make sure to use the plastic clip to hold the power supply to the ribbon, as it can fall out easily without it. It was not mentioned in the instructions, but after it came undone a few times it became obvious what it was for :-) I was able to use the SMartLife app rather than the software they recommended, and my Alexa is great for tuning it on and off now. ... show more
