Yes this is expensive and I have never paid near this much before but as I have been using it for a couple weeks now I see why it is so expensive...because it works great ! There is no knob or button for a setting of heat as it is set to be just one temperature and I find that to be just right. The plates run smoothly along my hair and I’ve never snagged. To me this flat iron seems to be made much better than any I have ever had and so I think it will probably last a very long time if not a lifetime. If I could add up the amount I have paid on all the flat irons I have bought and that have broken or stopped working in the last five years it is definitely more money than I paid on this for sure! ... show more

Great flat iron that heats up insanely fast. As a hair stylist, i've used this on medium to course hair and it smoothed out the hair beautifully. I only wish there was a screen to show the temperature or to be given an option to lower the heat. Also the color isn't what I thought it would be from the pictures. Still pretty cute though! ... show more
