Wow, wow, wow, WOW! I got SO lucky being able to try this curling wand! I’ve actually tried a few other products from ghd, including the hair dryer and brush dryer, and I have to be honest, I hated them. They were SO heavy that I could barely hold them for more than a minute, so I really wasn’t sure what to expect from this wand. But THIS?! I absolutely love it! The first time I plugged it in and turned it on, there was no weird burning or chemical smell whatsoever. I also LOVE the little rubber stand that keeps the wand from rolling around on the counter or falling over. Such a small detail, but SO clutch! Whoever thought of that, thank you! The thicker barrel is exactly what I like because I prefer bigger, looser curls. I have medium to short length hair and was able to curl my entire head easily. It does have a little bit of weight to it, but nothing that bothered me or made it difficult to use. It was comfortable to hold, easy to maneuver, and I absolutely loved the curls it gave me. I wasn’t worried about burning myself or my fingers as it was easy to hold and work with especially with the little rubber grip at the top so you can hold the wand while your hair is curling. That is so amazing.I absolutely don’t feel like it would damage my hair at all, especially if you use heat protectant before as this made my hair very very soft and very voluminous. I feel like it got hot pretty quickly. I don’t have any issues with the heating setting or anything like that it’s just an on and off button no complicated settings. I mean to be honest, who uses more than one heat setting anyway? lol they are just useless so I like that this just has an on and off button that’s it. I’m genuinely so happy to have this wand and will absolutely continue using it. I highly recommend the actual PRODUCT and think it works beautifully. Now, the price is another story. I’m personally much more of a budget girl, and I would NEVER spend this much of my own money on a curling wand. I just wouldn’t! I’m sure there are much cheaper curling wands out there that can give you similar results. However, if you’re someone who likes higher end hair tools and doesn’t mind spending the money, this is a fantastic wand. It would also make an AMAZING Christmas or birthday gift, especially for someone who would love a luxury hair tool but might never splurge on one themselves. I know I would be thrilled to receive something like this as a gift! So while I personally wouldn’t pay the premium price, I absolutely have to give ghd credit where it’s due, this is a REALLY nice curling wand, and I feel incredibly lucky to have it!

Worth every penny

I'm so glad I got the opportunity to try the ghd Chronos Curve. As a subscriber to the "all styling tools are basically the same" philosophy I've never paid more for a styling tool than the cost of a Chi every few years. Needless to say I no longer subscribe to that philosophy. The ghd Chronos Curve is well worth its price tag. It not only works amazingly well, it produces beautiful results that last a ridiculously long time. The on/off alert even sounds pleasant. It only takes a few seconds to heat up and only minutes to have a head full of soft, beautiful curls. Once you wind your hair around the wand it literally takes just a few seconds for the heat to penetrate and curl your hair. I don't know how this curling wand is able to create curls that literally last all day, but my curls will last from morning to late evening and would likely last longer if I put off my shower to the next day. I haven't noticed any new damage from using this either. It came with a glove to protect from burning your fingers but it's too big for my hands and it just gets in the way. Unfortunately not wearing the glove combined with my hurried nature has caused a few burns. So my advice is take your time with each curl, leave your hair on for the least amount of time as possible and use a heat protectant spray just to ensure the least amount of damage to you and your hair. All that being said, this is a product that is absolutely worth every single penny. I can't see myself using any other heat styler in the future.

ghd chronos curve curling wand!

i have been testing out this curling wand a lot lately and it’s become one of my new fav hair tools that i own!! first of all, i love how it heats up really fast so i don’t have to wait around forever for it to be ready and it’s super easy to use. i like that i can get different kinds of curls depending on how i wrap my hair without having to think about it too much. no too bad is also amazing because in the past i sometimes struggled with using those because of my hair texture. my favorite thing about it is that my curls actually come out looking smooth instead of having any poof to them. i also don’t find myself having to redo the same pieces over and over because they curl pretty quickly the first time around. my hair always looks shiny after and the curls hold really well throughout the day too! i also appreciate the little things like the longer cord because it makes styling way less annoying and i’m able to move more freely. the lil stand is nice when i need to set it down for a second and the auto shutoff is something i always like having as a just in case because i’m the type to second guess if i turned something off after i leave. overall, this is a total 5/5 for me. it works great and makes doing my hair feel a lot easier. if you’re looking for a curling wand that’s simple to use and gives really pretty curls this one is definitely worth it. it feels well made and visually looks high quality too.

So far so good for my long 2C hair!

I absolutely LOVE ghd hair products but I don’t curl my hair much anymore. I used to all the time but I just kind of stopped, but when I saw this ghd Chronos Curve CurlingWands, I wanted to start trying again! I have long and thick 2C hair. When I use this wand, I usually use it after blow drying or after like day 2 hair after it being straightened with a flat iron. So far so good! Super easy to hold. Heats up super fast and gets pretty hot so make sure to wear a glove!! This wand curls my hair super fast with zero heat damage at all (I do use heat protectant products)! My hair doesn’t always hold curls but this gives me the perfect beach wave look that I absolutely adore! The quality of this wand is amazing! Just like all ghd hair tools ! Works better than my shark hair tool! But everyone has different preferences! I personally think it’s worth every penny and compares reasonably to others priced similarly! I really love ghd hair products and they did amazing with this wand!!

This is my new favorite hot tool because making waves in my long hair is so easy now

This is the best curling wand I've ever used. It heats up incredibly quickly (we're talking less than 30 seconds) and maintains a consistent 365°F across the full barrel length, helping me create beautiful waves that stay in my long, thick hair for most of the day. The cord is extra-long at 8.8 ft, which is amazing since I like to style my hair while I sit in bed and no cord is ever long enough for this. The 1.1-inch conical barrel is ideal for the look I want to create on a regular basis - waves in my long hair. This curling wand makes it easy to do so. The one aspect that took some getting used to is the lack of any top bar to hold the hair in place while it's being curled; you have to hold it with your fingers. It was simple to get the hang of, though. This has become my favorite hot tool!
