I went more by the photo then the "ombre blond" description. I was right in this case. The color is more like the pic and the color is beautiful with blond highlights, more of a very light auburn with highlights. I'm sending it back because it is really shiny. The photos that people sent in didn't seem shiny. I'm seriously thinking of ordering again hoping my next one will not be shiny or I find a way to make it look more real. Hmm, don't know. It's very difficult to find wigs this color.

I ordered this wig primarily because the color is the closest I’ve seen to my natural hair color and has lovely highlights. Initially when I pulled it out of the package (zip loc bag + hairnet) and put it on my head it felt heavy but it IS a lot of hair so in hindsight, it’s to be expected. And full disclosure, I’m not used to wearing long hair so I might be a little more sensitive to it. When you go from a skull cap to a wig, they all feel weighty. Anyhoo, the wig is nicely constructed. The cap is lace with size adjustments so conceivably this might fit almost any head. There is a lot of (synthetic) hair in this wig so you really can’t see the lace cap beneath it. It falls nicely and is specifically parted down the middle. I had hoped to side part it but it’s not designed for that. The bangs can be pushed to either side so that helps soften it a bit. The bangs are long and I believe that’s done intentionally so the length can be adjusted to your preference. As I mentioned, there are lovely highlights in this wig but I feel like you want to clip back some of the hair so you can see the highlights around your face. When I had hair, I often wore a high pony-tail but I figured out quickly that it’s really not an option with this wig. When I gathered it up high, you can see it’s a wig and I don’t want that. You can always try a low pony-tail with a big barrette but I discarded all of my hair accessories years ago! If you don’t like hair on your face, you can pull back a tiny bit on either side with small clips but it’s obvious it’s a wig if you try to pull back too much. I’ve also noticed this wig sheds – not a lot but some and when you’re not used to seeing hair on the floor, it’s noticeable. All in all, I think this is a quality wig. It’s a lot of hair but the color is very natural looking and the highlights are nicely done. I would definitely recommend this wig. At this price point, it’s worth a try. I’ve purchased other wigs that cost in the hundreds of dollars and this one is just as nice as some of the others I’ve tried.

This wig looks nice, I like the style & feels soft. It is a bit heavy (it’s a lot of hair). If you have ever had a real human hair wig then you can tell this wig hair is synthetic, but for the price I think this is great. For me this isn’t something I would wear everyday. But for my purpose- Halloween or if you are into cosplay or theater it is perfect & good value.

The wig is thick and pretty but it’s not for me. The scalp is a lighter color and would be better suited for someone with lighter skin. Fits appropriately.
