I bought this as an adult for balance and agility trading as well as for the benefit hopping or jumping would provide in maintaining strong bones. I loved hopscotch as a child so figured this was a fun way to accomplish those goals. First, despite other reviews, it was very easy to assemble. You simply have to read the 2 sentence instruction. I have both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis in my fingers and hands, so if I say it is easy, it is! Second, it looks great on my laundry room floor as decor - it adds an element of fun. Third, I like that when I practice with it, I KNOW when I touch a line - there is enough height to each square that you can feel it in the sole of your foot, but not so much it is an obstacle, or likely to trip over it when walking around or through it. ... show more

The hopscotch squares are colorful and a nice size, but it is almost impossible to get the squares to snap onto the connectors. It’s definitely too hard for a child to do alone.

The design is good - enough space for even my adult foot to land in. The problem I have is that the pieces used to attach the squares don't hold well. Velcro strips solved the problem!
