What you have to do it the ladder mine would not stay flat either it’s a hard plastic ring inside what I did I stretched it out in a vice pulled hard until the plastic broke inside then it will unravel that is how it will be flat now you can still fold it up might have a piece of plastic rod come out but you can push it back in wrap some tape on it

I use this for boxing footwork. I bought the mini and it’s perfect for me. I’m able to move in and out and work on combinations while shadow boxing. I do think it’s expensive for what it is. I suggest an agility ladder that’s cheaper. I fell for the circular shape and if I had the foresight I have now, I would have gone with a $12-$15 agility ladder. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy it, but it’s not worth the price.

So, I originally bought this for my girlfriend post ACL surgery. I thought this would be some great PT for her at 6 months post op. We've used it at least once a week for the past 2 months. When we used the regular straight ladder recently, we were shocked at how easy it was. Both of us were obviously faster, not looking at our feet, and not catching the ladder with our feet. The only thing we can think of is how much more challenging the circle ladder is and how it's clearly helped.

Great tool to use to train boxers to use footwork. There are many drills on YouTube and it's been trivial to develop my own. A great accompaniment to agility rings, ladders and tape on the floor.

All these reviews about how it can’t stay flat. It’s a simple fix and one you might to do every time you take it out. Honestly it’s only ever happened once to me. You just have to have patience. You have to walk around the outer edge of the ladder while pulling out and down with your feet. It’s easier with a partner who can do it the same time as you on the opposite side, but it’s not hard to flatten down each time you take it out…
