!If the last time you tried jumping rope was back in primary school for Jump Rope for Heart, there's no better time to add it to an existing exercise regime or as the foundation of one. I bought this set of Crossrope ropes for my brother who tried mine over Christmas and got hooked. These ropes are remarkable in comparison to the vinyl or PVC ropes you're probably used to. One of my favorite features is being able to quickly swap out ropes using the clip handles. I have the standard orange weight, in addition to an endurance, a power, and a sprint rope. I try to alternate between at least two of them during a workout to mix in both endurance and intensity into my workouts. As a runner, I have found the crossrope especially useful when rehabbing from an injury. I've had a recent bout of IT band syndrome and it's been great to have the jump rope because it seems to not aggravate my IT band the way running does. I find these ideal for people who want to be able to quickly workout at home. I also bring them to the gym if I don't feel like running or cycling prior to lifting. I purchased a 5-ft jump rope matt to use with my rope and it makes it easy to fit in a quick workout at any point of the week. I tend to incorporate jumping into a high intensity bodyweight circuit (push-ups, planks or other ab exercises, high knees, etc.). If you're new to jumping rope or exercising the workout guides that Crossrope sends with the rope and they post on their website are great references to work from. Another great feature of the ropes is that they're so portable. For people who are on the road, bringing the handles and one or two ropes along with a resistance band makes for an awesome portable gym. If you're looking for a great jump rope or an affordable piece of cardio equipment I'd highly recommend Crossrope.

This is a great product to get lean and to challenge you, but the green rope is not a speed rope one like the page says, it is too heavy for that, I have a fast speed rope that is in fact, for fast speed jumping and you can feel the diference, but thats all, this is a great product and one that will challenge you, you will feel the work and you will see the results. good jump rope.

I am very pleased with this purchase. The handles are comfortable in hand and do not slip when you sweat. They provide a smooth rotation of the rope and do not bind. Super high quality coated wire ropes is very durable as long as you stay off abrasive ground like concrete or asphalt. I use a large sheet of cardboard or linoleum as a ground pad to protect my investment in good equipment. I am 6'4" and had trouble using one size fits all length ropes. The XL ropes allowed me to develop better form and concentrate on my work out. The only issues I had were: 1: The heavy rope needed to be wiped down as some of the color came off and stained my hands. I believe this is lubricant from the manufacturing process when they insert the wire rope into the protective cover. Once wiped down with a paper towel and rubbing alcohol no more staining. Could have been an a problem if I had packed the rope on top of good clothes. 2: Do to the heavy duty quality of the ropes they are unforgiving if you miss a jump and the rope strikes your feet, it does hurt but has not injured me. If you use light or ultra light shoes to work out you should consider this. Over all they are great and worth every penny and should last me forever.

Everything about this rope is perfect for me. Just get it, don’t think. Cause you could spend thousands on a treadmill and it would just sit in your house catching dust and turning into a place to hang clothes on, or you could invest in a Crossrope and have convenient workout right at your fingertips. And it’s portable and can go with you!!

The ropes are high quality. I didn't expect them to be heavy, but I think it works for my advantage. I get a strength and a cardio workout at the same time. I'm glad that I bought the small size, as suggested by the company owner. They are the right size for my 5'5 height. Yes the price is high, but you do get what you pay for. High quality, different rope weights, and a more challenging work out than traditional ropes.
