My 7 year old boy really has fun with this. The learning curve is pretty easy. After an hour of playing, he can make the car "dance". This toy is kind of part robot, part RC car. The flashing lights, the ability to do doughnuts, drive sideways, and "dance" kept him entertained for a long time. The battery recharges quickly and lasts a sufficient amount of time for playing. I recommend it for inside play. Good value for the money.

The front wheel broke on day 2. Past return window because it was an early bday present. Battery last awhile and comes with a second one so you can keep using it. The hand control is more complicated than expected. There’s a button to make the sounds and lights to go off/on, so that’s a plus. Does not work great on wood floor or grass but works great on the driveway.
