The stunt car is one of the coolest toys that my kids received for Christmas. It can sense your gestures and follow the movements of your hand, or you can use the included remote control. It can drive backwards, forwards, or sideways, and it can do spins or even flip over and climb up things. It can even drive on its side because of the unique shape of the wheels! The wheels light up for some extra snazz. My kids and my husband have really enjoyed playing with this in the house and outside. The only negative is that it's not super tough; for example, don't step on it while you're driving it because the wheels will break right off and can't be put back on.

My son(s) have lots of fun playing with this car. It drives quite well. I like how it can drift and move sideways as it makes maneuvering it very enjoyable. One can only imagine if actual cars can move like this! It's neat how it has flat and high modes. When in high mode, it does great traveling over large rocks or pebbles. The gesture remote control that wraps around your hand is nice to have, but it's extremely sensitive and hard to use, even for an adult. It's impossible for my 6 year old boys (triplets) to control the car with it. Also, the durability is questionable. My son accidentally stepped on it and the wheel broke right off. It was his fault for not paying attention, but I would have hoped for it to take a bit more beating than that... Battery life is not 60 minutes as one of the description images claim. It's more like 15 to 20 minutes of constant driving. All in all, at the $20 price point, this is a great value car to let younger kids play with.

The media could not be loaded. This RC car style is pretty popular - I've seen a lot of them on Amazon and, although they have different sellers, they all seem to be the same car. So the sellers are more likely importers than manufacturers. That said, at the time of this writing, this RC car is selling for $20, which is among the lowest priced sellers for this car, and the car itself is very cool. It's definitely not the fastest car - or even close to it - but it's ability to transform and/or move in some interesting ways with pivot bearings at the front and back make up for that. It also has a gesture controlling wristband, automatic driving modes that 'dance' for you, and it even moves sideways. Plus it has some cool lights, and pretty good, loud speakers, and plays car sounds while you drive it. The sideways movement is probably our favorite thing, but the automatic drive modes can be fun as well. Would I rate this 5* at a higher price point? Probably not. The car is well built, and the transforming features, sideways movement, and etc. are all very cool. But the low speed paired with the battery lasting for less than 15 minutes (and being annoying to charge) mean that it's more of a "have fun once in a while" or "have fun with younger kids in the household" type of toy. Not something I'd want to spend a large sum of money on - but for $20, it's a pretty awesome value and definitely a fun toy to mess around with :)

After testing this out inside on hard flooring, I took it outside. It handled snow pretty well. A couple of times it almost got stuck but either by moving sideways or raising the body up I was able to free it just using the remote. It didn't get stuck on grass but it did slow down. It was handling small rocks too, but then got stuck. The problem wasn't the rocks though. I think some of that snow I drove over melted and was shorting something out. It still responded to the remote but it couldn't raise itself up. The good news is that when I tried it the next day all is good. It spins in place and has an "s-shaped" driving mode and of course the music and the lights. Other positives are that all the batteries you need come with this including a little screwdriver to install them and a USB charger for 2 car batteries. The gesture controls work fine, but I prefer the handheld controller but that's just me.

I got this to spend time doing something fun with my 8 year old grandson. He really liked it and the moves it made, especially the sideways drift. He is pretty adept at using the usual controller and didn't take much interest in the wrist gesture control which was really a feature I wanted as I don't do well with pushing all the buttons. It is awkward at first and would take some getting used to Sadly, it's not very a sturdy build and one of the wheels broke off after only using it for a couple of weeks. It wasn't even used on rough terrain. It was fun while it lasted. Fortunately, he has several RC cars of his own that are super cool so he's not too upset.
