  • I Love this thing (I am a Low-Voltage Tech)
I love this product! Yes, it’s a lot to wear on the belt and does have a weight to it but the trade-off is that it is perfect for the site surveys and low voltage installs that I do! I upgraded to this sheath because I needed additional pockets and clip points for a pen/marker[favorite pen as a lefty, no smudge: Pilot Precise Grip Extra Fine], a mini box-cutter[I don’t leave the house without this & use it purely as an everyday box-cutter: Gerber EAB Lite Pocket Knife - 31-000345], a mini-flashlight[no more iPhone light: Streamlight MicroStream AAA 18watt/28lum Aluminum Pen Flashlight - 66318], and the multi-tool[Gerber Center-Drive - 30-001194]. I attached pictures so that anyone else that is interested in this product can see. I install VIDEOWalls, Digital Signage, and all other Audio/Video & Internet Related things all over the USA for Federal Government locations so besides the function it helps me stay organized and look professional when I do my site surveys and installs. Lastly, this is perfect for me because I have “OCD” :-) ....anyone buying this, congrats on your purchase. (PS: the pockets are slightly shallow and it is not a big deal at all because the Velcro closing flap keep everything locked down anyway) ... show more

  • The Velcro is salted garbage.
In theory, this seems to be a awesome idea. I shelled out $40 to carry my lumintop fw3 and my trusty Gerber MP600. I took me awhile to find a flashlight that fit this and the lumintop was prefect. Pelican 2360 won't fit. Maglite standard won't fit. I found a jtac5 fit great, but it being a "tactical" light would destroy the Velcro. I think it's the last image in the description that shows the Velcro closed with a MT in it. There is no way a flashlight is in that case. Unless it's a mini light. I'm in and out of a vehicle all day and I wondered how the case would hold up. The Velcro on this thing is trash. It detaches so easily after the first week. After using this a month, the Velcro didn't stick anymore. I found this out after I needed my 600 only to discover it and my flashlight had fallen out. This case caused me to lose $100 of EDC gear. $140 if you include a case I will never use again. I expected more from Gerber. ... show more

  • Dont do it
My set up was a leatherman oht in back pocket and a Kershaw shuffle on front pocket (because anything bigger would not fit) plus a zebra pen on pen pocket. First issue I had was the velcro was Horrible. It would not stay closed even after adjusting it to be tighter or looser it just did not want to stay. Second was the bulk that it bought. I understand I had a knife and the leatherman but still other sheaths I have used where not so bulk and felt so "in the way" third was that in the month or so I used it the elastic straps for the pen had stretched out so much that they became useless. I ended up using standard sheath that came with the oht and just pocket clip knife and pen. Dont waste your money on this not worth it. ... show more

  • overpriced and awkward
First, you can buy other sheaths that do the job much much better for a much better price and are less awkward and bulky. Besides that, functionality and space just don't really match up. It is very small like everyone said and if you could fit anything else in it, would make it extremely bulky. I also found the belt adjustment strap too loose and without a way to make the correct adjustment, at least for me. The only think I did like was the quiet velcro opening; I wish other sheaths had that feature but that unfortunately, is not enough to make this sheath worth the money. ... show more

  • DISAPPOINTED
Gave it 3 stars with lots of modesty because I am a fan of Gerber products, but not this one. The quality of the materials is excellent. The product is over priced, and it just seems like someone at Gerber was trying to justify there job by creating a product with little or no experience, it’s like me creating skinny jeans. Multi pouch products are very difficult to keep solid on bags, belts or chest rigs, because they tend to “stick out” and are less flushed to the attachment and some have lots of “play”. Great idea on paper, but in real life just did not work. I tested this pouch on a outdoor shooting course several times and just failed in so many ways (Velcro, single strap). Multi tool with a streamlight flashlight..things just fell out. A subpar latched down, loose attachments + running + crawling +weather = lost products or life. Not a mil spec product in my opinion, it’s a good product if you wanna impress your buddies on a job sight. Disappointed in this product even if it was $5. ... show more

  • Not my Bag
This is a novel well constructed, over priced sheath that doesn't quite fit my tools or my needs despite its customization and adjustable features. It is a good solution to a carry problem that hasn't been discovered. Where to start.. The bottom of the sheaths pockets are flush and not "squared out" so a lot of storage space goes wasted and items tend to ride too high. The flashlight multitool combination as depicted in the sales pictures is an AWKWARD combination to carry. The stretchable sheath flap is nice compensation for the poor design of the pockets. I get the idea this sheath was designed for a product that was canceled before launch but the sheath was already in deep production. The quad sheath is more practical as it cost slightly more than the double. Ideally Gerber should market two of these slightly less than the quad sheath. I'd have returned mine if I hadn't destroyed its packaging. It is empty still as I'm trying to figure out to make it useful in a practical way. For instance, I'd never store a spare pistol clip in this product because - there are products specifically made for this purpose, and those products have "rectangular" pocket bottoms. ... show more

  • Velcro that is supposed to hold the tool in place is useless will not stay secured
So as I said the Velcro that is supposed to hold the tool in the pouch or holster is beyond useless does not stay secure at all constantly coming undone will not reliably hold anything in place I used it for my Gerber Center Drive multitool and it is just useless they will find its way into the trash in the very near future would have been great if they would have put a button snap on it but they decided to make stealth Velcro whatever the heck that is retarded ignorant BS ... show more
