This sheath is real heavy duty and constructed of very fine quality leather and just the perfect fit for my custom hunting knife. The workmanship is impeccable. Didn't fit the knife I wanted it to.. and the clasp was bent won't button.. cut that part off .. very nice sheath thou.. I must've got a lemon

Well-made, no complaints there. But the belt loop is almost halfway down the back side of the sheath, causing the knife to ride way too high on my hip to make it easily accessible. The top of handle ends up beneath my lowest rib instead of being on the beltline where it can be easily removed. I'm going to remove the belt loop, punch new holes, and rivet the loop back on where it should have been mounted. Whoever designed this sheath probably doesn't actually wear a belt knife, or if they do, they must have long arms and very flexible shoulder joints. For me, this design is extremely un-ergonomic.

For such an inexpensive sheath I was expecting thin leather and erratic stitching. This is the opposite! Very well made and the leather is thick with an even color. Would definitely recommend!
