Scraper has four cutting edges so a fresh edge can be rotated into position whenever the facing edge becomes dull. All the edges are lightly cambered to prevent gouging. Woodworkers like me will ALWAYS WANT the STRAIGHT blade. It is not offered with the STRAIGHT blade. It is not offered with BOTH blades. The tool is ONLY sold with the cambered blade. It's a real good way for the company to get repeat business because just about EVERYONE is going to want the straight blade. SHAME ON YOU WOODPECKERS!!!!! ADDENDUM: I ordered the square insert; it came with a fastening screw and another allen wrench. I worried about what to do with the cambered blade (small, easy to lose, easy to forget where I put it). So I made a second tool with a piece of T6061 aluminum rod, 5/16" diameter. The screw is an 8-32 so I drilled and tapped the rod with a little tapered counter-bore to fit the shoulder of the screw that comes through the back of the insert. I turned a handle out of oak and now I have TWO tools; one with the square blade and one with the cambered blade. ... show more

The first thing I used my new scraper on was the inside corner of a drawer. The scraper comes with the rounded edge cutter that would not allow me to get the glue out of the corners. I think it would be better to supply the scraper with the square cutter and make the round edge cutter as the option. It works fine, but the combined price + shipping is terrible for just a tiny piece of metal. I got the initial product (convex sides) free with the purchase of a $295 product. I wanted the square blade. They could have shipped the product in a tiny package, but instead resorted to a relatively large box. Before Thanksgiving, the price for the entire tool is about the same as a replacement blade. I was foolish to spend this money. Just not worth the money. I watch Thomas Johnson of Thomas Johnson Furniture Restoration on YouTube and I have watched him use this scraper dozens of time and decided to get one for my shop. It works very well. It hasn't endowed me with his level of skill but that isn't the tool's fault. It works well especially in tight areas that won't allow you to use a razor blade. MakeS quick work of removing glue squeeze out, even if glue has dried ( but try not to let that happen). Feels good in your hand and ergo handle provides good control and comfortable scraping force.

Like other reviews, I bought this product to remove glues squeeze-out from inside corners where you need a square scraper to get to the glue line. The square insert should be either supplied along with the cambered - OR - it should be the only insert supplied. Further, Amazon does not carry the square insert, so I needed to go to another source, and therefore miss out on Prime benefits. hrumph! ... show more

I got it to clean glue out of corners, but since it's not a true 90 degree angle I had troubles getting it all out. Maybe I'm just not doing something right but it didnt work quite like I had hoped.
