  • Great strong well made boot .
Size: 12 Color: Brown
Excellent boot . Very heavy and well made . The size seemed narrow to me but I have hobbit feet. I returned the size 12 for a size 12 wide and the boot fits perfectly . THESE ARE STEEL TOE BOOTS ! That wasn’t clear to me in the description. The steel toe took me by surprise and at first it seemed like a negative but the more I thought about it the more it made sense to keep the steel toe logger boots . They are not crazy heavy like other steel toe boots I’ve had in the past . They are very comfortable straight out of the box and I wouldn’t have noticed they were steel toes if it wasn’t clearly labeled on the box and on the tag hooked to the boots . The size runs small (narrow) so I returned the first boots for the 12 wide . Steel toe boots ain’t gonna stretch so make sure the boot is comfortable with thick socks straight out of the box . The only issue I found is the first time I wore the boots for 10 hours there was a leather seam on the tongue that really really dug into my upper ankle on the inside where the tongue attaches to the main boot . This hurt and actually bruised my leg /ankle after walking for miles and miles all day long .I had to adjust the position of the tongue about two hours in to the day but the bruise was already there. The second day I wore these boots I was more careful with the tongue seam placement and the issue self resolved. No more issues since . The boots are very very comfortable and look great . I get compliments on them everywhere I go . These boots seem very well made and sturdy . Just make sure you get the tongue seam adjusted flat and not bunched up on your ankle or you are in for a painful bruise. After two days of break in I don’t notice any issues with that tongue seam . I likely caused the issue myself by not pushing the seam flat the first time I put the boots on . I just stuffed my feet in the boots and yanked on the lacing . Btw these boots come with a light tan color lace . … I don’t like the sharp contrast in color so I put some dark brown laces I had in my desk drawer in the boots and I’m much happier with the look.My wife says the boots look better with the light contrasting tan laces but I disagree. I felt like the yellow Iaces belong on clown shoes . Problem solved in two minutes with spare laces I had for my old work boots that I finally wore completely out . These boots are a replacement for my old Chippewa boots that I’ve beat to death for 10 years . I hope these boots hold up as well . They seem to be even better made than the Chippewa boots I finally wore completely out . We will see over the years . I give these five stars . Very comfortable just make sure you get that tongue seam flat and not all bunched up during initial break in . ... show more

  • Best boots I've owned, and I'm hard on boots! Best boots I've owned, and I'm hard on boots!
Size: 12 Color: Brown
I've owned various boots from various manufacturers over the years, including White's boots that a former employer provided. (I did not get to wear the White's for long as I had an injury that cut my time there short) These are functionally the same and just as comfortable, though they did take a fair amount of break in time. And yes, they did take longer to break in than my other two pairs of Georgia boots including low heel logger and low heel non safety toe versions like these. But what makes these stand apart from every other pair of boots (again, didn't wear the White's for very long) is the durability of the soles. The picture is 3 months in, and they're not even halfway worn through and they're not breaking down on the inside either. My other Georgia boots were pretty much bald by the same 3 months of wear. Keep in mind that I walk a MINIMUM of 5 miles a day, sometimes 10 plus, while carrying freight. These also have very, very good traction on ice, wet metal (equipment steps, etc), wood, snow, mud. The pair of Ariat boots I had were the worst traction I've ever had in any pair of shoes ever including dress shoes. The stitches and leather are also holding up very well despite winter weather and a fair amount of de-icer. I used to just buy cheap boots for a while and they'd MAYBE last a month to 45 days before they'd just get unbearably uncomfortable. These are less than halfway through their life after 3 months and still very comfortable. So, in the long run, they're cheaper. I do recommend odor control flat cushion insoles. Especially if you have feet like mine that sweat even in the winter. On that note, these are not heavily insulated, but still are not ridiculously cold in the winter with some good thick socks. And that was doing snow/ice removal in single digit weather. They also breathe fairly well for being quite waterproof. Bottom line, unless you need something specific like a fire rating, you won't get a better pair of boots no matter how much you spend. One last thing I've had issues with my broken pinky toes getting rubbed raw by other boots, but not with any of my Georgia boots. ... show more

  • Perfect every time, year after year.
Size: 12 Wide Color: Brown
My husband loves this brand and refuses to change. Great traction, fit is spot on, they do not fall apart quickly or come loose in the stitching. Better price point that the big boot stores as well.

  • Seem to be a high-quality boots Seem to be a high-quality boots
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Soggy Brown
I've had these boots for about three weeks, and I love them! I ordered the style with the low-profile roper heel. The break-in period lasted about a week, and it hurt my right ankle for a bit, but they're very comfortable once broken in. I do not use these as my work boots, so I'm hoping they last a good long while. I also removed the kilties for aesthetic purposes. ... show more

  • Decent boots. (UPDATED to five stars)
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: Brown
Pro's- they are warm. its been about ten degrees below and my feet are not freezing off yet. - they are waterproof as stated. with walking through the snow for a couple of hours my feet stayed dry. - they look good, authentic. something you can also look good in at the small town bar. - good value steel toe boots that can serve a multitude of purposes. Con's- I ordered 11.5 wide. they sent the right ones but they fit and look like regular width. they are a bit tight but i think a couple of weeks wear and they should break it. - the material and tread is slick as $#%^ on the ice. walking on surfaces that are snow packed is iffy, i have to be extra mindful walking in places i normally dont have problems at. i have similar style boots that do not slide like these ones do. - these were new when they arived i made sure of it- but there was what felt like old foot indents in the insole. kind of like when you put on someone elses old shoes and you can feel where the shape of their feet depressed the material? it almost felt like that and still sort of does. i give it time and this will likely go away. UPDATE: after breaking these boots in, I have fallen in love with them. They arent as slick on the ice as they were when i first got them. I think walking around on gravel and other things probably wore that smooth finish off of the soles where i was having issues. I did slip once and busted my elbows up pretty good but i put a hello kitty bandaid on it and kept on. I initially bought these as my stow away hiking and bushcrafting only boots but they look so good and feel so good to wear that I have a hard time not wearing them about doing my normal everyday things. I have had aquantences stop me and ask where I got them, Its the "lumberjack" appeal of the shined brown leather that gets people looking. I mean, how often does a man look at another mans shoes? Anyway, These work great for me and I will definately be buying another pair for sure. ... show more

  • Boot is not Waterproof at all!!!!!! Boot is not Waterproof at all!!!!!!
Size: 8.5 Color: Soggy Brown
These boots are not waterproof. The first small puddle i stepped in both of my feet got wet. I contacted Georgia boots and they sent me a replacement. The first puddle I stepped in with the new ones my feet got wet. The water was not even close to the shoe laces or the tread. The problem with these boots lies in that there is stitching on the bottom side of the boot where the toe box is. I would not waste your money on these if you are needing a waterproof boot because the Georgia waterproof system does not work. Please see picture of where the water comes in at. ... show more
