  • Easy, convenient to use.
Color: Red
I like this product. Easier to clean than grill with no removable plates. I use it very frequently. It heats up fast, cooks fast.

  • A Real Sizzler
Color: Red
We have had a large George Foreman grill for several years, but it finally gave up the ghost so I decided to buy my wife another one for Christmas. Our main complaint about the earlier one was that it was too heavy and bulky, so I made a conscious decision to find a smaller one. The GRP360R was smaller and had a number of good reviews, so Santa Claus wound up leaving it under our Christmas tree for her. So far, it's done a good job. Although retailers like Amazon sell a wide variety of grills that bear the "George Foreman" trademark, in actuality, a number of different manufacturers make the various models of these grills. As a result, there are several different models of roughly similar size and with roughly similar design and features, but the exact performance may differ. The GRP360R is manufactured by Black & Decker, which is one reason I selected it. The grill is available in a bright red and, for a higher price, there is a similar model in platinum. Although I would have preferred a less gaudy color, I bought the red grill. Actually, the GRP360R grill has a red cover and a black lower half. As with most Foreman grills, it has two separate grill plates, a stationary lower plate and an upper plate that lowers onto the food, similar to how a waffle iron works. The grill has an adjustable hinge that closes down so that the top plate fits snugly over the food. The GRP360R is described as a four-serving grill, but that’s a bit of an exaggeration. The plates measure approximately 11” by 8”. However, there is a raised barrier just inside the edges of each plate so the actual area available for food measures 9.5” x 7”. A grilling surface that small can’t cook four normal size portions of food, but it can and does cook two hamburgers, chicken breasts, or small steaks or pieces of fish. So, this grill does a far better job of cooking for one or two than for four. The design of the Foreman grill has improved considerably since we got our earlier model. The GRP360R has removable top and bottom plates. They snap out easily by pushing tabs on each side and can be cleaned in a dishwasher (a big improvement over our earlier model). The non-stick coating surface cleans easily, although people should be careful when washing it not to let it come in contact with silverware or other objects that could scratch the surface. The grill does not have an on/off switch; you simply plug it in and it stays on until unplugged. However, it does have two LED lights on top, one to indicate the power is on and the second to indicate that the grill is hot enough to use. As with most Foreman grills, the GRP360R has a bottom plate that slants downward so that grease drains from the tray (it comes with a separate plastic catch tray that fits under it into which the grease can drain. Both top and bottom plates have ridges so that the cooked food has a seared look similar to food cooked on an outdoor grill. We enjoy grilling steaks, burgers, and chicken breasts, and the GRP360R has done a very good job of doing so. With both top and bottom heating elements, food cooks very quickly (5-10 minutes for steaks, depending on how well done you like the meat), and the removable plates are easy to clean, even for baked on gunk like marinade. Meat that’s not well done is quite juicy and tasty, without having to dry it out to remove grease. Plus, with the LED light to indicate when the grill is fully heated, it’s possible to go from start to dishwasher in under 30 minutes if one exercises care (and mitts) in removing the plates. And, with the catch tray and removable grilling plates, cleanup is very easy. All in all, the GRP360R is a substantial improvement over the older model we had. The one real drawback is the rather small grilling area that might mean having to cook single pieces of meat separately for those who like big steaks. However, the removable plates, easy and healthful cooking, and ease of use more than make up for that. The GRP360R grill is a good alternative to grilling in an oven or cooking in a fry pan. ... show more

  • Get smaller version
Color: Black
I find this size is pointless for extra food to grill you can fit the same amount with smaller one half size just no extra space but half the counter loss. Go smaller. They all are a pain cleaning wise BUT all worth the money, easily

  • Love it, but...lifespan
Color: Platinum
I love this grill. It cooks great and easy cleanup with the removable plates. I've used it consistently 1-2x a week since purchasing a little over 2 years ago. Despite caring for it meticulously, it didn't take long for the exterior to begin to degrade with the heat and steam of regular use. But then the surface of the bottom plate bubbled and eventually started coming off. A replacement plate costs more than I paid for the unit. I've continued to use it, avoiding placing food on that spot, but...it's time. New Contact Submers ible model just arrived, so I'm going to give George another try. ... show more

  • We've had one in the family since they came out...
Color: Black
We have had a George Foreman in the kitchen since my grandmother bought one of the very first. I believe it was in the mid seventies. And it's still around here somewhere! We upgraded over the years as they increased the cook space capacity and design. They're just too handy and easy to cook on to NOT have one. Not to mention all of the excess grease (that is in most meats) is rendered off, and a preheated George will cook a two inch steak (medium rare) in less than ten minutes! It sears the outside of the meat, trapping the juices inside (YUMMY!) Unfortunately, the newer ones aren't as durable as the older models. Or rather the teflon coating starts to degrade faster than the heavier grates of those older ones. BUT, I've never had a George malfunction, it's always the grates that go first, the teflon chipping away ruins the "non stick". The last one we purchased was a large four-burger size with removable grates. It lasted about two years. We decided to go with this small two-burger grill this time. When I opened it, at first, I thought it was too small, but the looks are deceiving, there is plenty of grilling surface, it's just that the grills do not have molded handles protruding out the sides , ergo, the smaller appearance, but it accommodates two large chicken breasts, or, two large burgers, or two large steaks... you get my meaning. WORTH MENTIONING: the grills in this newer model can be REPLACED. so when the coating starts chipping, just order a new pair.. Cool.. That's why I gave this small George five stars; excellent tasting meals in just a few minutes. Everyone with a busy life needs one of these! ... By the way, the first George Foreman Grill was only big enough to cook ONE burger at a time and you couldn't remove the grills at all. Oh, and one more thing: never drop a grill that is still hot into water! That's what causes the teflon to start cracking and eventually start coming off. ... show more
