    • HD600 works! Use a Emotiva Basx A100 amp for ultimate quality
2017. Works for the HD600 exactly as described. Feels identical to original. Comes with the foam lining for the drivers. The installation is easy. You pop the pads old off and remove the foam lining (it just comes right out). Then replace the foam lining. Then insert the new pads. Here you grip the edges of the inside with your thumb and push with pressure and repeat all around the pads. You won't damage the drivers as there is a protective plastic piece. You'll hear several clicks as it inserts itself in to the grooves. Just press all around on the edges. And that's it. Only quibble....MAN this is expensive! I wouldn't complain if this was 20 or 30 bucks. But jeez. But works exacty as described. I replaced it because my old pads were very worn and the foam lining for the drivers had come off. Expect it to last at least a few years. But it will wear out. Grateful for Sennheiser to provide replacement parts for every piece of the HD600. BTW....I just receieved a Emotiva basX A-100 and I promise you it woke the sennheisers up. The sound quality went up about 10 times no joke and now beat my $2000 speakers (axiom m80 towers) powered by Emotiva XPA-1 monoblocks fully balanced through a DC-1. Just make sure to insert the jumpers to bypass the resistors in the basx a-100 and squeeze out all the sound these gems of the hd600's are worth. Bass is crazy. Mid range is crezy. Treble woken up! I didn't realize they sounded this good and I had used several headphone amplifiers before. They cost two thirty dollars and could easily be priced at a grand and nobody would blink. Not even joking guys. Be stunned. First time headphones beat a (great) speaker and very thoroughly too. ... show more

First time replacing these cuffs since I’ve purchased the Seinheiser HD600 way back in 2018. First off - YES. They’re a bit expensive for just these two squishy ear pillows, BUT.. they’re “THE” squishy ear pillows. Although I can’t really make the comparison to other generic brands, I didn’t want to take the risk. And as you can see from the photos.. they were way overdue for a replacement. So how do these sound/ feel?? Welp, the sound delivers a noticeably smooth difference. More crisp, clear, and just the right amount of bass, balanced with a clean resonance that pair ever so perfectly with the original model. It’s almost like an entirely new set. How do these feel?? VERY comfortable and pillowy. One reason I’ve worn these headphones for over the last several years is because of the way they fit my noggin for hours without any bit of discomfort. I’ve long forgotten just how nice the HD600 felt after wearing out the old pair. Overall, these stock replacements are top choice for the complete experience they’re made to deliver. If you have the extra funds to spare, I think they’re totally worth the investment! As a fellow musician and a graphic artist who listens to music all day and night, this was a MUCH needed upgrade to keep rocking my ears for many years to come. Hope this helps :) ... show more

    • Great fit for Sennheiser 600HDs
Old ear pads needed replacing on my Sennheiser 600HDs and these fit perfect. Easy to install and remove. They cup the ear nicely and fit very snug. I have had these for a while now and I wear them daily. No true signs of wear and tear either so the durability is also solid.

    • Nothing beats the original pads. Just get them and stop trying to save money!
Never get anything but the genuine article. I don't know why I always fool myself into thinking an alternative will work out - I always regret or return them. They always change the sound or feel weird - no more. Get these, they might wear down again eventually after a few years, but they are just as comfortable as they always were, and they make sure the sound remains perfect and as intended by Sennheiser. ... show more

    • Authentic pads make all the difference. If you haven't changed yours in awhile, do it!
I love my Sennheiser HD 600s for working late at night or double checking mixes I do with my monitors. Unfortunately the velour pads get kind of compressed and funky after awhile. I sweat a lot so after awhile my pads got kind of gross. I'd looked into getting leather pads or something else that wouldn't absorb so much perspiration, but all my research indicated that using any materials other than what were stock would radically change the sound profile. I decided to go with the authentic pad replacements. Installing them was as easy as pulling the old pads out, and then just clicking the new ones into place making sure that everything was latched all the way around each can. The first thing I realized was that I'd gotten used to the speakers being MUCH closer to my ears than they should have been over the years since the old pads had gotten compressed. The second thing I noticed was how much the sound quality was restored. I was worried that perhaps after years of heavy use, they started to "burn in" and change in a not so good way, but it turns out that the problem was 100% my old disgusting ear pads. Now that I have fresh authentic pads in place, the sound is as clear and detailed as I remember them being. Now I need to make sure to schedule a replacement regularly to avoid this happening again in the future. The authentic pad replacements are a little more costly than some of the 3rd party options out there, but if you bought a pair of headphones compatible with these pads, I'm assuming sound quality is important to you. Spend a little more to get the real deal and you'll be glad you did. ... show more
