I rarely write reviews, but this item is worth the time. I wanted to decorate my house for the holidays without hanging lights outside, and these candles were easy to sit on the windowsills inside. They look attractive, in my judgment. Hard to believe at the price, but they come with a remote control that allows setting a repeat timer to turn them on only for a set interval of time in the evening. They do require two AAA batteries for each candle (the remote comes with a pre-installed button battery), and at least in my experience, fully charged quality rechargeable batteries do not have enough power to light the candles, so you may need a number of conventional batteries to make them work for you. The media could not be loaded. I have been using them for several weeks in both everyday décor and evening settings. The first thing that stood out is how realistic the flickering flame effect looks. I tried several different brands and this was my favorite. Real wax on the outside and most realistic flame flicker. I have used these for may weddings and all my brides love them! These are beautiful candles with a wax finish and a warm glow. I have used them for several holidays and dinner events. The batteries are still going strong. No more dripping candles on my linens or worrying about something placed to close to the candles creating a fire hazard.
